Morning!
Havent been online last few days as ive been really poorly! Had a bug and couldnt even drink water and keep it down! (sorry for those eating brekky!) Great moneysaving as i havent been able to eat anything or go anywhere :rotfl:
Not so moneysaving is my new years resolution to be less boring and stop turning down invites cos im worried or scared what people will think of me or my clothes or what i say... or cos i think that its "naughty" and breaking the rules ive grown up with.. like going out at funny hours etc! So when a friend from Tesco rang at 2am and invited to his house he shares with a couple of other friends of mine i found myself agreeing?!! Despite my sore ankle/knee and the fact i didnt know where the house was except it was in the roughest part of liverpool! Anyway long story short i got changed out my pjs and went out onto the main road at the end of my street to get a cab.. the journey was only 1.5 miles (i checked on multimap) but it cost me £9!! Was worth it though as had a lovely night and ended up staying as didnt fancy a £9 cab home alone! Next morning get a cab with my friend as he was going to work (literally round the corner from my house) he ordered a private hire and to my utter moneysaving sickness.. it only come to £2.80!!! I wish i wasnt so scared of getting private hire cabs alone!
Anyway less of my rambling........back to the O/S today.... sorting out bits and bobs of paperwork and emails etc.... then carrying on with cleaning the house! Its not been done since xmas eve as i havent been here or have been ill and it looks a state!!
Chucking my xmas tree out in the yard today after de-prettying it. :xmastree: I hoovered up the needles at 6pm last night.. by 8pm it needed doing again!
Got to go get gas AGAIN! And i need a couple of bits from the shops but hopefully can go with my mum as shes coming down this way as they are her "local" shops too.. 20 mins walk away from her house!! Makes it a bit more pleasurable and twice as moneysaving as sometimes we get stuff and split it and theres twice as many eyes looking out for yellow stickers!
Gotta ring jobcentreplus at some point too.. urgh! Really dont wanna... but i need to sign on. Hate making that call cos i always feel so useless and worthless after it (having already been on JSA twice before once after 8 months unemployment and once after being made redundant over night unexpectedly)
Really busy day ahead i think! BET i fall asleep at some point too and dont get half of my planned stuff done as only had about 2 hours kip all night!
Well done for reading this far in my long and rambling post
Have a great day everyone!0 -

Hi JD, Kiwi, Johanne and Smokey and anyone else I may have cross posted with.
This is v early for me y'know. I got so fed up of running to school with DD's made a resolution to get up earlier.
After dropping DD's off at school Ive got a load of stuff to do, bank, building society, post office etc, need to get photos to get a bus pass for work next week, library etc, made a list and have got route round hight st planned so I dent feel tempted to go in any unplanned shops and spend unplanned money!
After this I need to take down trees and decs, then I have a massive to do list so will try and tackle as many things on there as possible.
Don't know what is for breakfast lunch or tea today!
Have a good day all, Good luck with the MIL Kiwi, and Johanne glad you are feeling better.0 -
Morning!
Im still tired, work was again a busy one and managed to do nothing of importance since it was the usual cash/cheque in/out day. One person had a whinge at me about the length of the queue as soon as I got back of my lunch, what do people want - for us not to eat? As far as im concerned we go as quick as we can and if you choose to stand in line during lunch then its your own damn fault - not mine!
It would help if we actually got the refurb we keep getting promised - we need new equipment, internal fast tills and for it to look pretty as its not too pretty in comparison to other branches. Oh well - management do what they will. I actually brought work home last night but didnt get round to doing it too.
Dinner tonight will be HM pizza, and fingers crossed the boyf takes the boxes to the post office as it really needs to be done today. At least its Thursday and the week is going quick!

Morning
My internet connection keeps playing up and although been up since 4am havent been able to post  Not a good night last night and managed about 3 hrs kip....I hate this, but dont plan to do much today other than rest as Im back at hospital tomorrow for more tests and see the doctor. I wish they could make a tablet that stops me feeling so tired and in pain all the time...why cant they LOL
DW is empty. WM will go on later as not enough bits in wash bin ATM, but think I have a couple of towels that need washing so should have enough when DD goes to school. Again they will be dried on the airer & havent used TD in 10 days nowToilet has been cleaned and downstairs is generally clean and tidy-could do with a sweep through. Didnt manage to do the glass light ceiling shades in my lounge yesterday, so will do that today (with OH's help). Managed to do 16 items to turbo lister for ebay and will upload later today for 10 days so people have 2 weekends to look at them. Might try and do another 14 items later, making it up to 30 for the week. Think the BM will be on later for pizza dough as we used the last base last night.
I have no other plans today apart from resting. Received my 1st dvd from a free trial Im running, so may wach that later. All I seem to do ATM is watch TV and bloomin resting....can you see Im having a bad day already today
Breakie: Tea & biccies for me. OH & DD toast and fruit.
Lunch: Jacket Spud-cheese, ham and coleslaw for OH & I
Dinner: Shepards Pie, cabbage and carrots
Right, Im off to take me daily concoction of tablets and pain killers and get fruit and drink together for DD. Will catch up later :santa2:

Morning All
Had a better night's sleep last night, but still feel really tired.
Got 2 new tyres yesterday cost £54 inc VAT.
I've agreed to do a Half Marathon for charity, so have to start training. Dreading it - I'm a sprinter not a distance runner. HELP_pale_
Still feeling crook, but that's probably the lack of sleep.
Mum's trying out the SC for the first time today, so I'll report on how that goes tomorrow
Hugs to all who needComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Morning all
I'm sitting eating my porridge, waiting for next door's DS1 to arrrive - like my son he doesn't go back to school till Monday. He's 13 so is a good 'babysitter'/entertainer for my 2His brother is back at school today so will collect him at 3.30 and bring him back for tea.
May ring a friend and see if she wants to bring her boys round, other than that, not a huge lot planned. Will make a nice veggie soup later - pulses all soaked. BM will go on in a while and I have pork steaks ready to go in the SC in a tomatoey sauce (damn, just dropped porridge on me keyboard:mad:) Still have lots of laundry to do and my bed deffo needs changing today and DS1's if I get round to it.Will hoover through as well - did my dusting last night.
Actually, I have got a lot planned today, reallyI have to fit in some 'play time' with the boys too
(((hugs))) to those in pain/ill and kiwi, chin up - it'll be over before you know it. At least she doesn't live with you....
Take care all

Morning all
Woke up in tears after a nightmare at 5.57am!!! Don't you just hate it when that happens.....I always feel really groggy If I've woken up mid dream - I need them to come to a natural end to clear it from my mind.
DW empty, WM on - it will be hung on airers as like PP I've not used my TD in just over a week now.....I found a great quick drying method - I've hung my radiator airers on a curtain pole high over the radiator - pair of jeans dried in under an hour yesterday....I leave the window open slightly to take away the condensation (not that I've seen any).
Beef stew was lovely last night - DD1 made the dumplings - told her to put in some herbs of her choice (yes a bit risky but she didn't go for the hot curry powder!!) She put in some parsley for colour, some basil cos she loves it and a spoon full of smoked paprika as she loves that too...they were gorgeous. Was a very MS meal - the beef was leftover from Sundays joint, half the veg were left from the cooking of sundays joint, the rest were odds and ends to use up, the suet and flour for the dumplings were passed to me by mother as she wasn't going to use them......my kind of meal!
Going to attack DD2's room today - should take as long as DD1's yesterday as her room is half the size and never as messy, just need to find space for all the new boxed games they got for xmas.
Brekkie - Toast and cereal
Lunch - DD's sandwiches and fruit, DH ham and piccilli Wraps, me - fruit
Dinner - HM quiche (defrosting as we speak) with carrot and potato mash and steamed broad and runner beans.
Off to do my "paid to click" jobbies then I'm away to find the hoover.
Hope you all have a great day."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Yesterday I was in bed all day really poorly - back in work today but only because at the age of 40 I am worried about getting my !!!!!! kicked by the horrible GP here (the other 2 are lovely and there is "tension" there shall we say)........ feel very out of it but I have resolved last night to come in here, do my job, keep myself to myself and then leave a.s.a.p. unfortunately, thanks to the other day it will not be sooner rather than later as I am now here for another month at least (i have a cunning plan to go on maternity leave and then just not come back when I have to....). Still, I got some post yesterday and in it was some Tesco extra points vouchers and the first token towards another bottle of kumala wine via the linda mccartner range. so that was nice............ also another load of FBs  and I still haven't got rid of the last lot yet............... we were particularly OS yesterday with toast to have my painkillers with and toasted sandwiches using HM bread for breakfast and lunch and then I had some lettuce sarnies for tea and OH had some more toast when he came in (he likes toast)........ haven't even given a thought to dinner tonight - I'm trying to concentrate on keeping my BP down :snow_laug AND somebody has been searching on my desk and has mixed up my admin and pending piles.......... and they've been on my PC ............ I've just realised how fed up I sound  right, off into the fray.......... see you all later... :santa2:But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green0
