TM - well how did you night go

Didnt go swimming last night - wouldn't have looked too good with toilet roll stuck up my hooter - nose wouldn't stop running, sneezing, sore head - sore throat.

Came home from work - emptied DW, defrosted curry for dinner and had that with rice instead of BAked pots. Went to bed to watch a film about 930pm - lights out 11pm and woke up at 7am this morning :eek: - better nights sleeo

Morning!

I went to bed early last night too, I was asleep not long after 10 - which is a good job really since I woke up 3 times because of this damn cold! Im feeling a bit achey this morning so I must remember to take painkillers to get through the day! Im going to hate work today, I just know it!

I made some bread last night using the 'wrong yeast' and it didnt work!! My loaf was a solid rock of non edible stuff - im go gutted! No hm breakfast for me today... The house is a tip too because boyf was supposed to clean yesterday and did !!!!!! all, and now he asks if I mind if he has his friend here. Im thinking, what, so I end up cleaning around someone on my only day off this week whilst feeling rough? I dont think so. We will be having serious words this weekend I reckon, as he STILL hasnt found any work.

WM and TD are both on, DD's packed lunch is made and I'm sat here in my towel after just having a bath.

I'm off to buy my slow cooker today!!! MR 6.5L is currently in argos for 23.97, and I have 5 pounds in nectar points so it will only cost me 18.97 :T

We are going to our friend's for the weekend so no cooking for me - hurrah!!

Just got to get through today at work and it's the weekend!!!!!

Must go and get dressed and make mine and DH's lunch - ta ta for now!

morning all.
busy day for me today, dd has a friend coming to sleep over, so was up at 6, making spare bed up and getting organised as i'm at work all day. there is rice and veggies in the slow cooker, washing machine is on with first load (only enough for 2 loads today thank goodness) and we have just had fruit salad for breakfast. spent 3 hours ironing last night, got to the bottom of the pile for a change, but there'll be more ready tonight, lol never ending it seems.
hope you all have a nice day, sorry i can't think of anything else to write (i hope it gets easier, lol)

Got my beauty treatments at 9am. How early is that? :eek: Just having my breakfast now - branflakes (Tesco own brand) and a cuppa.

I'm going up to my parents' house this afternoon. It'll be nice to be pampered . Before I go, I'm going to cook up a large vat of veggie sauce to go with pasta.

Morning everyone.

Another early-bedder here. Fell asleep not long after Big Brother and didn't wake up until 7:45 this morning! Nearly 10 hours sleep. I always say tho' if I sleep that long then I must need it.

So far had a shower and checked bank account. Today is bills day and just checking everything ok.

Leaving at nine to go food shopping. Usually go to Lidl's first and then get what I can't get there from Morrisons. List is not too long today. Have a lot in the freezer and veggies still from last week so hoping not to spend too much.

When I get back will do some washing and see what else needs done.

No other plans for the day. Don't know whats for dinner yet. Usually on a Friday we just play it by ear and have something easy. Its my day off work and feel I should have a day off cooking as well!

CQ - Glad to hear about your son. Hope everything works out ok.

PP - Have a good day out at the flicks. I love going to see films but hubby not so keen (he would rather watch at home) so we don't go as often as I would like.

WOAS - I have only been posting for a few days as well. I just ramble on and then realise I have written loads!

Hi everyone
This is the first time I've posted on this thread so be gentle with me!!!
I've been thinking 'why would anyone be interested in what I get up to every day?. Then I realised that this is the first thread I read every morning & I find everyone else's lives interesting so why not!
I'm having a VERY VERY un OS weekend because me, my DH & 11 assorted mates will be having dinner in Barcelona tonight!:j We fly out this afternoon & come back late on Sunday & I'm SO excited. The dog has gone to his 'mummy Louise' to be looked after, DH is working this morning but I've taken the whole day off so I can pack & get ready.
I expect strong liquor will be taken in frightening quantities so Kiwichick I expect to be posting on your 'Detox' thread on Monday.
By the way - this is not the way I usually spend my weekends. We like to have a weekend away at the end of January because it gives us something to look forward to when we go back to work after the New Year. :beer:

Welcome Dobie:hello: . Nice to see even more new faces on this thread.

I woke up with a jump this morning after the postman was banging my door. had a parcel of dermablend from the USA for my mum. It worked out she could buy 1 item in the Uk for £22 inc postage or 2 items from the US for £30 (inc Postage).
Off now to wake up with a cuppa, and sort out DS. Fingers crossed I will get my sofas in my front room, and can then refrain from sitting on the floor and getting a numb backside.:D . Have a good day ...

Feeling lousy today think the dreaded lurgy has invaded as baby is full of snuffles too, Lack of sleepo really doesn't help. Baby was up at 3am and I ended up on the sofa with him and couldn't sleep at all.
dp has taken dd 6yo and my lil bro and sis to school and is off to work himself in a bit.
Have a load of washing up to do from yesterday, made h/m doner kebabs with h/m garllic sauce which were delicious. And helped dd 6yo and her friend make some shortbread so the kitchen is a real tip.
Need to get a few loads of washing on as well as the pile of dirty clothes is rather large at the momment.
baby and 2yo are watching the tv.
tea will be chili con carne tonight, if I feel well enough to make it, otherwise dp will be doing a spag bol bless him.
Really need to get back onto the slimming world plan but that can wait a few days.
