WHOOOOOOOOOO!

ahem, yes, slightly hyper bout the end of exams
todays went fine thankyouuuuuuuu, finished early an all!
Umm, so today...dunno...probably up to the Union tonight  probably the afternoon in pub down in town  with anyone/everyone who is around.
With me being teetotal I think there will be plenty of opportunity for blackmail in the near future(" do you remember what you did on wednesday? no?? well, i do " :rotfl: )
OS can go to pot for the day, i'l get back to proper standards tomorrow, i promise!
Have a fabby day everyone!

Morning all - sorry to hear about Asthma attacks, nosebleeds and further disrupted nights.
I've been fairly busy so far. 2 loads of washing through the machine - 1 already on the airer and 1 to sort out still. I might cheat and use TD today, as the amount of washing to do is doing my head in. I can't get it dry as quick as we are using it. We had a couple of dodgy transactions (luckily refused) on our CC, so DH cancelled them. I'm going to try not to spend as we mainly use it to get vouchers then pay off in full. We only got it in october, but with double points in november and triple in december, have already had £40 of vouchers for Band Q, and there is another £40 to collect. I think we may try and save them up and do a big job with them, like the bathroom, or i might save up for a pushchair when we have kids.
Debenhams card bill arrived. It's quite big, but mum is paying it as it is the remains of the wedding list that my parents got us for xmas.
today i need to wait in for a parcel, and could also do with popping to the post office. Window cleaners have been. i want to go to my parents too, and see my grandad as i haven't seen him for weeks - he always visits them on a Wednesday, along with my aunt, so it's a bit of a catch up session (usually i'm at work)
i think it will be mince and onion with potatoe wedges tonight, then keep some of the mince to put in a pie. I'm getting quite good at this cooking lark. I've remembered to take HM soup out of the freezer for lunch, and just need to remember now to take a portion of dinner out rather than cooking. The freezer is absolutely chocker - although now a hole where the soup came from.
Enjoy your day one and all.

Morning everyone
I had really stange dreams where I was trying to go to the loo but couldn't do it, I woke up really needing to go! Do you think if I had gone in my dream I would have wet the bed?
Anyway made a lovely stew in the sc last night, recsued the sauce/gravy, liquidised it and put it in teh mince and onions we're having tonight, hopefully going to taste lovely. Had to do it all last night as working till 5.30 (should have used the sc again, I know!).
Trying to run down the freezer so I can defrost it but just made a load of stock so it will be full again (doesn't feel right having an empty freezer)
love to all

I know what you mean - despite my saying I was going to do a store cupboard challenge this month, I've still only spent about £50 less than usual - I can't resist the BOGOF's on things I actually use, like the Allinsons flour in Tesco. Also, my freezers are groaning under the weight of food - I have bags and bags of stock and this last couple ofweeks have made 'big meals' ie full dishes of shepherds pie, fruit crumbles, moussakas etc, instead of just bagging up portions of bol sauce or soup.
I WILL try and eat what I have - my freezers also need a defrost
Anyway - have just been for a 2 mile walk with DS2, so that means I can devote this afternoon to getting on with some of those jobs I've been promising to do for ages. Still have the bol sauce to make - they don't like the SC version and I have dried laundry still hanging off the airers and rads downstairs which I must move - so I can putmore on
Best check DS2 has eaten his lunch - got to do the pre-school run now0 -
afternoon all
back again, have been into town and saved myself some pennies, thouhgt I would ask in the local petshop about a new seal for my fish tank filter and he could order me one in for 50p less ans I wont have to pay postage :j so thats £2.50 in pin money + plus saved 10% on my fish food with my tera club card, althoug I did buy some more plants another snail and 2 more harlequins.
Am shattered after all that walking.
Should now be tidying , but have that can't be bothered syndrome once again
Welldone holstar on finishing your exams.
Found out that baby loves sausage  dd 2yo saw me give baby the cheese off my sausage so decided that he would enjoy the skin and she would eat the middle had to fish 3 bits from his mouth, he whinged when I wouldn't let her give him anymore he's only 5 months old and already has the stubborn streak  kids who'd have em!
Is it easy to make sausage rolls as my darling mother buys my dd2yo one when she takes her out, now everytime we go down town dd insists I buy her one  would much rather take one with me for to save money and know what has gone into it.
right must go and ummmm tidy up well maybe later any how, going to play with the kids and see if the can't be bothered syndrome will find someone else occupy.
hugs to all

Afternoon all!
Hugs to those that need them and hope you all get a better nights sleep tonight x
WM on, downstairs has been polished, hoovered and mopped, just done the stairs and waiting for the hall to dry before I do the bedrooms. Have took a gamble and put a pair of Ugg sheepskin boots in the WM, hope I don't ruin them. I'm a bit anxious today as I am having another scan tomorrow afternoon, so I am trying to keep myself nice and busy.
Brekkie Toast & marmite for kids and hubbie, I had none
Lunch: Packed lunch for kids & hubbie, I had a bowl of weetabix
Dinner: Sausage casserole, baked pots, carrotts and crusty bread.
Have a good day everyone, wrap up warm if your going out its cold.

Afternoon from chilly London :hello:
Still have a headache that won't respond to any pain medication, and a head full of snot (sorry TMI) so really shouldn't be at work. But I always worry that if I stay home sick, I'll just feel worse. I'd rather just get on with it. Sorry to hear so many others still aren't feeling well.
Lots of moving going on - we're having an office reshuffle on Friday so we get to dress down for that :j and BOYFRIEND IS FINALLY MOVING INTO HIS LONDON FLAT!!!!! :j :j :j
Just spent 20 minutes in the queue at Lloyds TSB  to pay credit card bills - Natwest (a small amount of stoozing) and Debenhams storecard (paid in full as I took it out solely for mega discount on expensive dress last month).
I have nearly £2,000 coming out of my current account next Tuesday  for a share scheme at work, which did at least give me the excuse I needed to move money out of my Egg savings account which has been underperforming. (There isn't usually even half that amount IN my current account!!!)
Other things on the To Do list are: get in touch with the Halifax about transferring my ISA to them from First Direct (would like to have this in place before the start of the next tax year so I can start paying in straight away); get rid of a bagful of empty booze bottles (if you saw how many I've got you'd think I was a right lush, but I've basically been using up the ends of things so as to clear away the bottles!); work out which weeks this year might be good opportunities for a holiday; sort out which shoes currently need repairing; set up a little comparison spreadsheet for self and housemate showing the relative merits of different broadband providers.
Elona, you've reminded me that I need to book a haircut and an eye test. And a dental checkup. Also need to place a big wine order to restock my rack (I always get two cases at once to save on delivery), and send lots of emails to find out how many of this year's operas I will be able to get freebie press tickets forI managed to underspend hugely in 2005 on my going out budget, and I'm hoping to do even better this year.
Congrats holstar on finishing your exams! I hope the results are what you want.
Might do my hair properly tonight, with the straighteners. Looking good is always a morale boost when you've got "the bug that's going round"...Operation Get in Shape

Afternoon all!!
Day off today (yippee!!) Have been to book party for DS2 - who'll be 3 in 2 weeks time! Found a new kids adventure playcentre locally, its only been open 2 months so managed to book the exact date/time I wanted! Only planning on inviting around 10 kids (including my 2) and it was a reasonable price!!
Got some b'day cards/wrapping paper from Wilkinson - bargain at £2.48!!
DS2 much better today. DS1 has gone off to school happy because he DOES have a wobbly tooth!!!!! He bashed his front tooth when he was 2, and that's the one that is now wobbly!! It seems like such a huge deal for kids age 5-6 at the moment!!
Woken up by DS2 around 5.30am, then all the power went off!! Mad panic as everything in our house (even the central heating boiler) needs electricity!!! However, thankfully it came on by 6.00am!!
Have prepared cheese sauce for macaroni cheese tonight. Finished off some egg mayo at lunchtime in a sandwich. DS2 is currently asleep. Need to go & wake him up as he's not had lunch yet!!!!!
Will no doubt check in with you all later!
Hope everyone has a great afternoon/evening!!!!20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

All the washing has now been pegged out 3 times today!!! It is still as wet as when it came out of the machine!!!
Sun has now come out again but I refuse to peg the blasted stuff out again.
Postman has just delivered a huge box - wondered why DH said "Hell - not again!" It is more work on scripts that has already been returned twice!
Pointed out briskly that I cannot change hair appointment or opticians appointment and DH backed off - agreeing hastily.
Wish the weather would make its mind up .
This constant to ing and fro-ing makes me want to scream"This site is addictive!"
