Morning everyone
PP sorry to hear you had another rubbish night last night. Maybe you'll get some sleep later on today.
Scuzz...think you definitely need to go and get some rest as it sounds like you are exhausted. If someone is needed at work to cover for you or if they need a permanent person there let your managers worry about it.
Today is yet another day at work. Never mind. Yesterday I popped home at lunchtime, lay down for "5 minutes" and fell asleep, ended up being an hour late back. Nobody seemed to notice but as we have to clock in and out it'll show up eventually. Had difficulty getting to sleep last night, then was awake around 4.00 am. Nodded off again, but woke up before the alarm - so v.patchy and will be wrecked later today.
B = porridge with lots of seeds and raisins chucked in
L = HM soup and bread (will NOT lie down!!)
D = something eggy, probably scrambled egg & beans on toast
Holstar....best of luck today with your exam. Have a great time tonight, you deserve to let your hair down.
Cheerio everyone

Morning
Went to bed at 10 last night as I was absolutely shattered, and have woken up with golf ball tonsills today that hurt. I have to go into work though as we never have enough staff to cover illnesses for the staff who work with me - which doesnt help when the other girl has a long term condition so sometimes has to take time off. I will give them all my nasty germs!
Anyway, washing machine is on and ive already prepared my uniform, so id better get ready I suppose. Ive got friends coming over this evening but I might cancel if I need to go to bed early again, I dont fancy slaving away cooking meals etc when im tired!

cheeky little mare!!
Her glands can't be feeling THAT bad then! Joking aside, I hope she feels better soon, it's no fun if your throat is all puffy/yukky. I used to suffer dreadful bouts of tonsillitis when I were a lass (eons ago!) and it seemed like the end of the world!
Yesterday managed to give some of DD's clothes to a friend of mine! Yay! The piles on the table still look ginormous though. This morning I am going to ask if Nursery want any of them, then some are going to the Charity shop, and the rest are going to be bagged size wise ready for a couple of NCT sales.
DH has been a bit like "what if we decide to have another LO" ..... but with the trade in 2nd hand baby stuff, and the fact that everyone gives everyone else handmedowns, I really don't see the issue! He finally came to the same conclusion prior to him leaving the country! So, I want to get it sorted before he comes back ... because I just know he will come back with a suitcase load of new clothes for DD!
Normally I do the ironing on a weekly basis, but I decided to do the bits I had last night, whilst it only took me 40 minutes, I think I will stick to doing it weekly in future! Doesn't take that long anyway, not with the prudent way I hang stuff up and sort out the non-ironing promptly etc.
Right, DD on the move, Noddy must have finished! Time for porridge methinks!
Todays plans are going to be completely ME-based (well, sortof, between 10 and 3 anyways) .... I want to get the spare room setup for my sewing. I have booked myself on an overlocker course at the end of February, and I want to ensure I can actually thread it prior to that!

morning peeps
sorry to hear some of you had bad nights, hope you get stress-free days to make up for it
yes, its last exam day today....in oooh, 2 hours. So, i'm wide awake and just re-reading a few key notes and stuff (and also some key MSE stuff, lol)
But, exam should be fine, its a part-coursework module anyway, and I did ok in the coursework, and the examis part graph/calculations as well, so that should be easy.
will be back in later, tell you all how it went and plans for rest of day (other than being in the pub)

Morning All,GOOD LUCK HOLSTAR
Hugs to all those that had a bad sleep for one reason or another. A nice strong coffee is the way to go me thinks.
According to the health visitor, DD is no longer contagious (stops being so 4 days after spots come out) so today she is back to school-if I can wake her on time. Shes still quite tired with it as she had glandular fever as a small baby and it takes her AGES to get over stuff.
Dopey me left the clothes on the line over night and they are all frozen stiff. Thats the 2nd time this week I have forgotten them. Need to get some dried fruit bread made today, LOVE it but its naughty so must slice and freeze so am not tempted to eat the whole loaf in one day.
The survey was done on our house yesterday so things are moving on with the sale/move finally. Some more boxes to sort today.
Right, off to make a coffee (decaf:rolleyes: ) so will catch you all later.

Morning campers :hello:
It's a cold and frosty one this morning!!! Hopefully the sun will put in an appearance though so I'm going to put the WM on in a moment and hopefully get a load hung out to dry. Also need to put a loaf in the BM and I've got some sausages need using up so will bung those in the SC and make a spicy hotpot for dinner tonight.
I need to check for freezer space too as I want to make some batches of soup today. Managed to go a bit farther afield yesterday and visited a farm shop where I picked up some lovely veggies, and also some packets of seeds for herbs and veggies so I can get some of those started in the next week or so.
DS2 also wants to do some baking today - cookies and muffins - so hopefully I can time that right for those to go in at the same time I'm roasting off some butternut squash and tomatoes for soup.
I'm not impressed with the local butcher though as we popped in there on the way home yesterday to pick up something for dinner and noticed he also sold eggs. I asked where they had come from and told him I didn't want battery/caged eggs, so he assured me they were free range, yet when I got them home they were stamped with 3UK  ... I certainly won't be going back there again!!!
I don't seem to have much luck with butchers LOL! :rotfl: ... I wonder if the one in the next village is any better, otherwise I think I'll stick to ordering my meat online!
Right, time for more :coffee: me thinks, and good luck with your exam today Holstar. Hope everyone has a good day :A
Bye for now "An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

b toast/cereal
l sarnies

lots of ironing today, was supposed to be going out to lunch to a playbarn type place with my daughter to meet up with a friend, however ds is home from school and so that will have to be cancelled. Aim to spend no money today now !!0 -
Hello peeps
Well, it was DS1's turn to crawl in beside me at 1am. I was so tired I thought it was DS2 so let him stay thereHe's on a 'warning' now - I can't be doing with him disturbing my sleep, esp as DS2 still has night's where he wakes me before 6am. And isn't it typical- DS2 didn't come in until just before 7am
Anyway - need to take a walk up to the post office this morning - post some letters and pay the paper bill. Will make a bol sauce for tea, but as they all think they are having meatballs, will give them the choice (I'd got the mince out of the freezer before I remembered  ) DS2's bed need stripping, upstairs needs dusting - got vac'd yesterday and bathroom needs a clean. WM will be going on and so will DW.
Managed to sort Mr TM's car insurance last night - usually stick with Norwich Union as it's always the cheapest for us and we get extra discounts as both cars and house are with them - which is something else I have to factor in when getting quotes. Rang them to ask if they could better the price and she said "we've given you the best price available.......... BUT if you get a quote online (on their site) and it's cheaper, ring us back and we'll match it"Saved £85
Just need to sort out his life assurance now so I can cancel this stupid, over-priced and not very good policy he's got, now. Also, he had his renewal notice for one of those credit card protection plans came through the other day. £20 per year  He only has 5 cards listed on it. He decided he didn't want it so threw it out - luckily I retrieved it and it's an automatic renewal. He'll be making a cancellation phone call tonight. Oh, and he told MINT where they could stick their card last night. Payment was late by 1 day (online - don't know what the hold up was) Managed to get the £20 late payment fee back but they wouldn't refund the interest (£15) which they had told me they COULD if they wanted. I told him to cancel it and he did :j Now - I'll have to sort out a new card for him. Joint Tesco's one perhaps....
Ok, off for my shower. It's a bright but cold day here - may even get on my bike this afternoon. If not, I will do some sort of exercise when DS2 is at pre-school (she says quickly, before the halo slips)
Have a good day everyone
