Husband told me at lunch time that the most of the shopfloor are going to be off for the next few days due to lack of work. I said what about about you he just went  and if you are I asked is it paid or unpaid. Because at the moment we can't afford for it to be unpaid with me not working. He has not even been there 6 months yet. So I think him looking for another job is ver top of the list due to that getting asthma as well.

Oh well it is only money. Can't have what I don't :rotfl: Mind you might see a new slim line me as all we can afford is bread and water for the next month.

    Skystar,

It is a pain in the bum. And he said they have very little in the way of work for next month as well

As the song goes we will survive and I promise to keep my head high and keep smiling and as I said it is only money.

Hope everything works out for you as well.

Hey all, im very tired and think im coming down with a cold or something, but managed to make raspberry and peach jam after work, but didnt sieve my fruit mush before sticking it in the breadmaker so I now have jam with pips which I hate. Convenient gift to put in the cupboard though!

About to have a takeaway pizza for dinner (its so naughty) but im so tired I can barely keep my eyes open and intend to have a very early night.

    Hope you are all well!

Hi Everyone. Ive had an strange day today! Went to work tihs morning and ended up coming home with a small portable colour TV that my work mate promised me 6 months ago (I had forgotten all about it!). Also managed to get our local charity shop to collect our old sofa, and they turned up just as I got in from work. we now have no sofas until Friday. Looks like we have loads of room in the front room now!
Really pleased as well as I've been on the weightwatchers diet for 2 weeks and I've lost 2lbs in weight.:D Off now to make some carrot soup...

OH had an asthma attack through the night and couldnt get back to sleep, so absolutely shattered:mad: and its freezing! OH has put fire on for me in lounge and have 3 blankets over me.

WM is ready to go on and will be dried outside or on washing line.THink thers probably enough for 2 loads today as a few towels can be done. DW empty. Toilet cleaned. Floors need a quick sweep too.

DD is off school again today and still puffy and swollen, if shes not better tomorrow she has to go up hospital for blood tests to see if its mumps or not. Last night she wrote a list including times of what she wanted to do today, so I have to endure 2 films:eek: make a bacon roll for breakie and pizza for lunch:confused: cheeky little mare!!

Need to update my bank and credit card accounts and do a BT from 1 to another CC. If OH is OK abit later, he will be continueing with DD's bedroom and getting some of the skirting board down.

    Breakie-Bacon and Mush Roll
Lunch:Pizza-dd, HM Fishpie for me & OH
Dinner: Toad In Hole, Roast Spuds and Veg

Will catch up later as I hear footsteps already.....dont know what she will do as her intinery only started at 8am...LOL

    Hope evryone is ok.

    Morning PP

I sympathise with you OH. I had an asthma attack last night too. I was out training for the half marathon in the freezing weather when it came on. Despite that I still did one final sprint to prove a point to someone. So feeling pretty lousy today.

Really wish I wasn't at work. Might try and leave early

Having to redo everything left and struggling to find anything else to do. Got food with me, but not feeling up to it yet

Will probably have to go shopping for work, as we need a BIG autograph book, that we can auction off for charity at the end of the year. It was my idea so I should really take responsibility for it.

    Anyhoo, hope everyone's ok
