(((Kiwichick))))
I had a lazy day, I dragged boyf for a walk around some park thats near us and thoroughly emjoyed the fresh air - even he said he'd sleep well tonight! Everything is now done except sock balling and ironing a pair of trousers for work tomorrow, and a chicken soup is bubbling away quite nicely (here's hoping it tastes nice, that stock stuff doesnt look too pretty, especially when I found a couple of tiny bones in it - YUCK!
Im going to finish the soup, take down the decorations, iron trousers, ball socks, and wax legs in that order, then go to bed - am tired!
Again, BOOOO to work tomorrow!

they eat little and often and rest for 1 hour after each sitting, so you don't waste the energy you have consumed, you could try this. so it would be breakfast, mid morning snack, lunch, aftermnoon snack, tea and then supper. you must rest for one hour after each meal. dunno if it would be any good??? hth

I spent ages writing my list of things to do this morning on here - then the message boards went down and I couldn't even view let alone post
Anyway had a productive day - if not after a bit of a late start - OH really doesn't do getting up
We popped and got a few bits from Tescos only unsceduled things were some non christmasy Christmas wrap if that makes sense really reduced - will do for Birthdays this year and cost 78p for 6 metres of luxury stuff (reduce from about £4 in total :money: )
Then braved the designer outlet along with the rest of the population of Yorkshire by the looks of it - OH got the stuff he wanted and cheap so that was good - just coffee and raisins so not really designer.
We've managed to do 2 loads of washing today - I've been through undies drawer as I got some new ones for Christmas (nothing exciting just nice marks and spencers ones) and got some older stuff out - taken down Christmas tree - sorted some more stuff from when we moved and put all the cardboard for recycling in the boot of the car as we now have a recycling box for cardboard in Sainsburys car park so will take it on Wednesday night - OH cooked lovely dinner and will wash up when I've finished watching eastenders - and I sorted the kitchen cupboards a bit and made room for Christmas chocs etc.
Have also sold another thing on amazon marketplace :j :money:
Need to get myself sorted for work again tomorrow and an earlyish night - don't know how I'll get into the work routine

I am back at work tomorrow - worked inbetween Christmas and New Year so it's not like it's a major shock but it would help it if I liked the darn place....... still I probably won't have anything to do - I didn't have anything the three days I was in!!! Definitely getting some toaster bags tomorrow from poundstretcher........ tomorrow will be rice and peas I think - although we've got some rice which says it's long grain (asda smart price) but when you cook it it goes mushy and it's awful...... i shall go hunting for a "how to cook the perfect rice" message!!! sat and ate the last of the breadsticks tonight. Anyone want a laff? OH got into his snazzy asda uniform today and went off only to appear back - he doesn't work Mondays and had forgot this was a Monday!!!!! ha ha ha.... bless.......... :snow_laug mind you, i hadn't twigged either it's just been so blissful being together with no interuptions we've lost track of time. I hope I can stay de-stressed tomorrow (it took me until New Year's Day to calm down from 3 days in work!)..... i think I shall take some more herbals and green tea in........... either that or vodka!!But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green0

Morning everyone
Boo hoo....sorry to (virtually) burst into tears but it's back to work day today and I really don't want to go....
OS - usual porridge for brekkie, will venture home at lunchtime and have some already prepared home made soup and some 10p bread from Sainsbury's. This evening a nice big plate of rice and Caterina's Bolognese sauce - I even remembered to take it out of the freezer...fantastic, I love it!
I have to take Dylan the kitten (or Dyddles as I've nicknamed him) to the vet this evening for his 2nd injections. He's going to be an indoor cat, but from time to time will be in a cattery, so he has to be vaccinated. My other kitty, Ted, is older and has all his done. It'll be another £22 tonight but with luck that will be the last visit to the vet until March when poor Dyddles goes in for the snip.
Ohh I have to get back into bed and try and get another hour or two kip. I am wide awake right now, but have only had four hours sleep which isn't conducive to a productive day at work (still don't want to go...).
Any newbies out there:
Hello! :hello::hello:...please don't be shy, just join in and let us know how things are going, you're very welcome here.
Bye everyone, happy Tuesday, specially to those with troubles, and to the rest of the "Back to Work Today" gang.

Morning! Didn't manage to get much sleep (even with the med I'm taking) as oh has a cold and is snoring very very loudly! Will try to catch up later when he wakes up:rolleyes: as I know I will pay for this later. There is a little cat sat next to me that can't believe her luck and is trying to convince me that it really is breakfast time!
Desperate for a :coffee: but am trying to make my first drink of the day a hot boiled water and lemon! After that:
Breakfast - porridge with Dem Sugar and some :coffee:
lunch - bubble and squeak (to use up Sundays leftovers), danish pastry
Dinner - Leftover turkey, stuffing etc in gravy, meringue nests and cranberries in syrup.
Decorations are coming down today, tree will stay up until the last minute as I love my tree! :xmastree: it is full of memories in the form of very old ornaments collected over the years. Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Hi Everyone,
Very unusually for me I have had a terrible nights sleep. I lay awake in the dark (OH forced me to switch off the light and put down my book at about 3.30) listening to OH snoring and thinking about JD's breakfast thread, really fancied eggs on toast. Rather than go back to sleep since OH is now in the shower, I have got up to tackle some ironing before DD's get up. In an effort to get their body clocks back to normal I'm going to get them up around eightish. DD2 had a loft bed for Christmas, she had gone on and on about one for months and now she is having trouble sleeping in it.
OH is back to work today, DD's are back to scchool on Thursday and I go back next week. Plans for today are to do some more ironing, put away washing and ironing mountain, tackle the stacker boxes I have in living room - mainly barbies than DD's no longer want to be sorted out and clothed ready for the next car boot sale. This will probably take me up to lunch, after this I'll try and do as much as possible off my to-do list. Need to take DD2 to get new school cardigans as she is growing like a weed at the moment, and need to pop in to see my mom and collect DD's fluffy scarves that she has knitted for them.
B - eggs for me!
L - Don't know yet, maybe a cheese n beans toastie
D - Salmon, new pots, runner beans and carrots. Steamed sticky toffee pud and ice cream.
See you later!0 -
Urh - its cold, dark and its back to work. Nightmare! Didnt go to bed last night till 12.30am, as I was typing a letter of complaint that needed to be done (I decided to start complaining where appropriate and also sending thank you letters when people do things properly).
So im well and truly shattered. Watched Erin Brockovich on TV last night and wished I had a job I could get enthused about. My job would be a lot better if they re-furbed the place as its battered and old, and I had a boss that actually liked me. Its about to get worse too as one of my work mates is being moved somewhere else in the country. I have ambitions to move on there although I dont think they are going to happen very fast and need to stay for a few more months, keep my head down and work hard, and fingers crossed things will improve in April. At least ive only got 4 days this week then 2 next (booked a couple of days holiday as its my birthday then and I dont want to taint the day with work).
On that note, I suppose id better go and get ready to brave the world. HM something or other for dinner tonight, I havent quite decided yet!
