    Cant say I have much sympathy for people who sell a copied game.
    Excuse me? It was a genuine game. I didn't say it was copied.

    You said it was a purple bottom.

    No 'original' games use purple bottoms.

    Well mine did. It came from play.com It was Spyro. Unless it was the other way around. Mine was silver and he sent back a purple? It was 3 years ago now.

    //edit - couldn't resist and googled....purple discs are apparently CDRoms where as the silver backed ones are DVDs. So purple discs are genuine. Some of the older games were purple backed.

    That sounds more plausible if your brought it from play.

    thats what Im thinking. There is a bit of a 'thing' on the number 6 key, although personally i dont remember there being anything wrong. It could be me being forgetful though. Do I take the easy route out and just ask him to return it and I give him a refund?

    if you look at the number 6 key on your pic you can see that is just the picture blurred pic there is nothing on the number 6 key he is def having you on

    And couldn't he have easily put a broken key pad in your phone especially given the fact he has bought so many?? Make him send it back or let him go through Paypal then at least if there is a pattern they may notice it.

    Thinking about it. I agree. If you look at the first picture he sent me, the keypad is broken and damaged all over the place not just a small 'mark' on the number 6 key. Now, look at the enlarged pic of my phone and you can see maybe a small fuzzy mark on the 6 key but nowhere else is it broken. These are DEFINITELY not pics of the same phone.

    Question is, how do i deal with this politically without annoying him. I dont want the git to give me a negative. I'd rather just get him off my back by him sending me the phone back and me give him a refund.

    I sent the buyer this email earlier:

    ===================================

    Hi. Thanks for your mail.

    I can't see the pic for some reason. Are you hosting it on a web site? Can you please send me the pic as an email attachment.

    In the meantime, I'd be happy to give you a refund - please post the phone, box, charger etc. via 1st class post and I'll give you a refund.=
    =======================================

    Anyway, this has now really got me intrigued, I have noticed on his feedback someone sold him a D900 but he complained about that listing too...I have emailed that seller to find out if they had a similar story thrown at them too ...

    ……..I'm very very careful with descriptions now, I don't accept returns on anything electrical/CDs anymore as I know they are in mint condition because I look after them………..

    A cunning plan but ebay/paypal will just over-rule you if you tried this.

  • Hi,
    The buyer had bought spares on the 7th Nov,could it be that he's swopped keypads? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330284553186&category=3312

    Tbh,I think the keypad in his picture looks more like a D900i keypad and he has purchased D900i's in the past.
    The keypad in his pic looks more greyish than your D900's blackish keypad.

    I'm of the opinion that he's trying it on.
    Ask him for more pictures,the more the better so we can have a better look.
    Or you could always ask his previous sellers if they have ever sold him a phone/spares with a cracked keypad.
