sent him this message:
Hi,
The picture you sent me doesnt appear to be my phone. As you can clearly see from my auction pictures, the keypad definitely is not damaged and the phone is black, not silver as in your picture.
I notice you have bought lots of faulty Samsung D900's in the past. Did you mean to send this message to someone else?
If however, you have changed your mind and want a full refund, please send my phone via RECORDED DELIVERY, complete with box and charger and I will be happy to issue you with a full refund after checking the IMEI number matches with the receipt that I still have.0 -
very good reply..keep us informed..hopefully he will go away in short jerky movements!!TO FINISH LAST, FIRST YOU HAVE TO FINISH....0

thats a good idea.
Anyway, heres the link to my auction:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&item=120330028067
Pics are a bit blurry but good enough quality to see the keypad is NOT broken, and the phone is black.
Now, take a look at the picture he has sent me ...

Is that a black phone or silver ??
That's definitely not the same phone, as I have the black version, and my dad has the silver version, and the above looks silver. Also, yours has a big ORANGE logo on, and his picture seems to miss this out, hinting it's also not the same phone.
Keep us posted on what his reply is!
Shame the photo of the box is blurred, otherwise you'd be able to see the serial number!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
I have also noticed in the positive feedback on some sellers that he has left:

Note to 1st FB: it was revised, so presume it was either a negative or a neutral previously?
So, do you think he's tried the same technique with all the other sellers? Ie get a phone, then get a partial refund? :eek: Or claim something is wrong when it is listed correctly as faulty?
===
Is there an option for reporting this buyer? In terms of harrassing sellers or something along that line to get a full/partial refund?0 -
this looks like it is definatly a different phone, i think he is trying it on, and he as not got many feedback.
please let us know how you get on, he might not reply if he knows you are on to him0 -
Interesting.... will be coming back to see how this pans out. He is definately pulling a fast one in my eyes!0

What a curious situation! Looking forward to reading about a resolution

the plot thickens... received an email back from him, and another picture, comparing my pic side by side with another one he has taken...
Email :
This is definitley your mobile. IMEIXXXXXXXXXX. I have made a comparison and fortunatly you can see by the white chip in the left corner of the No.6 key.
Thanks for your offer of a refund but I feel the postage charges make it uneconomical to return on the price of this item. Thats why I suggested a small refund.
=== end of email
I can't seem to save the pic and post it here , so i have asked him to resend it.
But the pic does look very much like my mobile, with a small crack on one of the keys. Interesting, because i dont remember the keypad to be cracked at all when i sold it.
He is still insisting on a small refund. Am I being picky if i ask him to send it back for a full refund, via recorded delivery?0 -
seems pretty strange to me.
Especially as with that sort of slide phone you couldnt break the keys in the post without doing some damage to the screen too.
Think he might be trying it. Hope you get a resolution soon.OnePoll - £12.40, Yougov - £1.00, VO - £24.25, youdoo miles - 24292, MHF - £0.00
Not much, but its a start :rotfl:
Helpful?? Moi?? Hook me up

well, to be honest, I am tempted to just ask for the phone back (via 1st class post - shouldnt cost him more than 2 quid) and give him a full refund.0
