Sir, I think you are totally paranoid. WHAT SCAM!!!!
I buy mobile phones with working lcd's to replace the phones I buy with broken lcd's. Its not rocket science...........It is just a shame that sellers say that the lcd's are working when in fact they are broken.
The only part usable then is the mainboard and that is why I ask for a part refund to reflect the value of that part.
I can not return it as I have used the front casing on another phone.
==============================
So they admit to buying phones to resell, but the selling ID is not registered as a business seller...?
A quick phonecall to these people may do more damage/righting of wrongs, than anything that eBay could impose.

It may also be worth looking at this page - http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/MoneyTaxAndBenefits/Taxes/ContactOrDealWithHMRC/DG_10010579 - particularly this bit.If you know someone whose business is not registered for tax call the Tax Evasion Hotline on 0800 788 887 (open Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm, Saturday and Sunday 8.00 am to 4.00 pm) and HMRC will do something about it. You don't need to leave your name and address.

Once it's signed for then mention you want a refund (plus dispute)

Add to that, send it back in a DIFFERENT packaging/box so that the seller does not recognise it.
Another thing, with buyers, eBay does not give out the full seller's address? So how to get the seller's address?

Tell him you want to pay by postal orders.....
Or if already paid and the item sent it should be on the outside of the package, all you need is the postcide and house number!0 -
wot wot a thread ive just read evvery post since it started i was intrigued. scammers eh ive just had one too but was too wise for their tricks but will share with u a common trick u may all know off
bought a phone from me - wants to send to india - alarm bells!! - pays extra £20 to send - international signed for off course making it look all genioune. his/her address is listed in their email account but when u go to paypal to check it out surprise surprise it says
Seller Protection Policy:
Ineligible

No Address Provided
Payments without a postal address are not covered by PayPal's seller protection policies and programs. Learn More
so basically a scam i send and then they claim the money back even though i can prove i sent it0 -

I complained to Ebay too, using 'email us' link -- you have to find it hidden away in the 'report a member' section. I got a standard auto reply back , saying they will look in to it, but due to confidentiality will not tell me what action they will take, if any
