They wouldn't remove the feedback form the guy who said my stuff was fake rubbish.....yet strangely he won the dispute for item not received.....I complained a couple times saying how can he leave that comment, yet claim to have not received it??????....fell on deaf ears.....debedmunds wrote: »ebay will remove feedback if the seller proves the buyer is lying-this has happened to me
There will come a day when they will have to be held accountable for actions like mine and the op's.
Very little feedback gets removed unless the person who wrote it agrees to.Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D0 -
Dont they remove both feedback if one of them uses the C word eg to describe the other person?illegitimi non carborundum0

Where is his business based?littlemisscheeky123 wrote: »I don't know which one to use either.
Maybe if we both Email ebay and tell them his seller account as well as his "buyer/rip off" account they will surely have to listen.
He also owns a business where he lives. That's the address he uses for his "buyer" account so may well be that his seller account is under his home address??0 -

now this guy is annoying me more and more ...
He has sent me this message:
"I have closed the dispute as the item can not be returned in the same condition as it was received and I am not wasting money on the p+p charges."
I really dont know what to make of this guy.
At least my paypal account is back in the positive. I guess he has realised he will not get his postage fees back and I didnt budge despite his threats LOL.
I've replied (using eBay's message system ... NOT via private email, which he always uses ) ...:
Dear Mr Hallmark_Imaging,
You sent me this email:

I have closed the dispute as the item can not be returned in the same condition as it was received and I am not wasting money on the p+p charges.
My reply is this:
I've been on to your scam since the beginning. Despite my best efforts to offer you a FULL REFUND (yes, this means including refunding your postage charges) its clear you had no intention of returning the phone back to me.
I am well aware that this is not the first time you have tried this scam and you have tried to gain refunds from other sellers. What you are doing is clearly a breach of the trust ebay puts in buyers and sellers. I have reported you to ebay. Merry Christmas.0 -
I know that MSErs are not directly involved but do you think that if enough people brought the buyer/seller to eBays attention they would get fed up and actually do something. £14 may not be a large amount of money but it all adds up when you thing how many people the buyer may have duped. It has also taken up a lot of the OP time.0

OP you have added a post since I started to add mine.
Great news. It is no thanks to eBay/Paypal. Good on you for sticking to your guns.0 -
have reported this guy to ebay:
PS: not sent the message two posts earlier to the user directly. Need to think about it a bit more as I dont want things to get 'dirty'. Ideas anyone?
Member or Item being reported: hallmark_imaging
Message: Dear Ebay
Ebay ID hallmark_imaging is buying faulty phones from unsuspecting sellers and then proceeds to claim that there is a fault with the phone, and asking for a full or part refund. If the seller asks to return the phone for a full refund the buyer hallmark_imaging will make an excuse similar to 'it's too much postage for me to send the item back'. This has often resulted in a prompt negative feedback for the unsuspecting seller.
After getting a refund, this buyer then refurbishes these phones and sells from a different account ID which is carlidanielle.
Ebay should be protecting their sellers from scams like this. I urge you to contact the people hallmark_imaging has dealt with for more information?
I myself can provide further evidence to support the above.
Users like this are clearly abusing the feedback system and buyer/seller trust and this case deserves further investigation.
I look forward to hearing from you.angel00079 wrote: »I know that MSErs are not directly involved but do you think that if enough people brought the buyer/seller to eBays attention they would get fed up and actually do something. £14 may not be a large amount of money but it all adds up when you thing how many people the buyer may have duped. to be honest I don't know because you guys have not had any direct dealings with him so really are only going by the information in this thread. If anyone wishes to complain, please do so, but dont be surprised if ebay turn a blind eye.0 -
If anyone does happen to buy stuff from this charlatan with the intention of returning, don't tell him you're returning the item before you actually do, so that he does actually sign for it (rather than refuse, maybe thinking it's a purchase) and then any dispute can be resolved with the proof of posting. Once it's signed for then mention you want a refund (plus dispute)
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.
Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.0
