It looks like he's had his ticking off for avoiding Ebay fees.....some have been removed and the others have been changed to 99p buy it now instead of 1pNever put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D0

lol
thats nice. but he has more coming to him... it will take time though
Also, some quick advice please...because of this idiot my paypal account is now in the negative (dispute is still in progress). I want to buy an item urgently today ... used Buy It Now, but it wont let me progress with paypal until i 'top up' my account to bring it in the positive. Are there any charges for this?luvvlyjubbly wrote: »It looks like he's had his ticking off for avoiding Ebay fees.....some have been removed and the others have been changed to 99p buy it now instead of 1p
They've all been changed. Its still worth complaining again though as £1.99 is still an excessive postage charge. Anyone else care to complain this time?0 -
hi i've been following this thread on and off and must say it's disgusting how ebay are doing nothing about this guy. To save me from going through all the pages had his id been posted anywhere? if yes can someone point me to correct page / post.0

page 4 post 68 has a link to shaggy's feedback with the buyers account id on, page 7 post 122 has the same guys seller id on it0

Even if it can be proven that the buyer is sending back a different phone? Surely not.
There are certain things that are black and white, and I've run through the processes on them. There are others that get decided by a person, ebay don't have enough customer service staff, and even less as they laid a load off a couple of months ago.
To this person at ebay, they don't see someon's money at stake, all they see is a shed load of cases (read work) that they have to adjudicate on. They are just going to plough through them, they're going to go down the list on the computer and click, give buyer money back or give seller money back.
It's then a lottery, and an uphill struggle to appeal and ebay make it as difficult as possible to wear people down and put them off.0 -

Paragraph 2-could you ask someone in your family or a friend to buy it using their account? Sorry, can't advise on the charges though.
Regarding paragraph 3, I posted yesterday asking about this. Is there a limit to the number of reporting items? Reason asking is that for other sellers that charge £10 or more for pp (for light to medium items), I have reported them but they ARE still there, and aren't taken off. (And no, other sellers have charged less for 1st/2nd class-RM it would have to be over 4kg to be this heavy??!!) That's why I asked yesterday (post #180) whether there was a limit to the number of reported items? 1 per month or something like that? And also does eBay only remove if u have high FB i.e 100+?0 -
well, just as I expected .....
We have determined that the buyer, xxxxxxxxxxxxx is eligible for a
full refund (including postage and packing associated with the purchase)
for this transaction.
Actually I didnt expect the 'postage and packing' bit?? I thought for all claims were refunded minus the postage and packing????
I really like this bit ..
To receive this refund, the buyer must return the item to you in the same
condition as it was received. The buyer is responsible for the cost of
returning the item to you.
yeah right ...
I can only be thankful that I learnt my 'paypal lesson' with an item worth only a tenner (14 quid with postage included) and not something that I sold worth £200 or so. I wont be using ebay to sell things in a hurry. Theres loads of other places to sell stuff so will always try those first.
Also, I thought the idiot had to post recorded delivery so paypal can track the item?? Whats to say he will just use any old crappy royal mail receipt (which he uses to send his other dodgy phones on his seller account) and scan that one in?? I can say goodbye to the phone I guess. No big deal, the guy will ge his commuppance
