Also, one of the options on the left menu for my cash card FlexAccount was overdraft. This told be there was a £50 overdraft "reserved" for me - did I want to apply. My new FlexAccount (with debit card) doesn't seem to have the overdraft option0 -

does anyone know the actual requirements for Nationwide's internal scoring system?0 -

Yes you can transfer money from an old E-Savings account direct to the new Flexi-Account, I tested it before I posted my earlier response i didnt go ahead with it though.
Activating E-Savings + ( not one of your questions i realise) the system offers one of the Flexi-Accounts to use in conjunction with it, if a different Flexi-Account is required it can be picked from a list the system says.
As for your E-Bonds, best to send a secure message to Nationwide IMO, my guess would be that it shouldnt matter as long as you have "a" Flexi-Account that can be linked to the E-Bond, after all the only significance of the two is as a means of moving funds from one to another with "a" Flexi-Account a means for applying for online "Bonds" etc
As for BB and the overdraft, I was asked if I wanted an overdraft when I made the second Flexi-Account application, what I was offered was lower than what I have on my original Flexi-Account due to fact that over 8 years Nationwide kept offering me a higher overdraft. I can only assume that Nationwide arent prepared to offer you an overdraft as a matter of course but are on your existing account due to your conduct on that account.
As for Card Readers they were sent out automatically to existing Debit Card holders just before Nationwide made their use mandatory, I would assume that they would get sent out automatically to new Debit Card holders, best for someone to ask Nationwide directly about that IMO.0 -
I just made my first credit to the new account - by Faster Payments from HSBC. I did get this error on HSBC "The payment has been sent. However, the receiving bank is unable to guarantee when it will be credited to the payee's account. (H41)" but the payment appeared at NW immediately.
This credit seems to have brought up the Overdraft option, where I have can have a £250 overdraft (compared to £50 on my old FlexAccount).0 -
As far as I'm aware, while you can transfer from a new Flex into the old ESavings, the ESavings remains "linked" to the old Flex - which means that you can't shut the old Flex before you've shut its linked ESavings0

Can you say what the sort code of your account is? AFAIK Nationwide have only activated one sort code for receiving Faster Payments, which very few account holders have - and if you 07-01-16 like most people I'd be most interested to find out!0
