I'm talking to OH on messenger just now, it's stilted and strange and it hurts. Things aren't going the way I thought they would. I'm sad.

I think I'm going to stay away a couple of days guys.

or this diary is going to go downhill fast and I'll make everyone miserable.

If that's what's best for you KT then rest a while. But don't let despair weigh you down until you can't do anything.

Check in here, every day or so, for me and those that care for you, so I know you're okay. Many people on this board love you very much and will worry about you while you're away.

my job is safe.

Unfortunately my team is being broken up. We've taken the biggest hit in our department.

I got the other application in though. you're all still thinking interview-y thoughts, yeah??

I spoke to OH today, after resolutely saying I wasn't going to yesterday. I had thought the best way for us to deal was to completely have time apart but I couldn't do it. and he didn't want that either. he still wants to know how I'm doing. that's something... I'm still so sad about the whole thing though and got all upset talking to him on the phone. oops.

Time and space... my new two least favourite words in the English language.

Hope you're doing ok...

I went through the same thing with t'other half at Christmas where we took time apart and had a Big Think about the relationship. I was a total mess throughout, and it was horrible but we are honestly better for it and I'm still calling him t'other half I hope that things work out in the way that is best for you both, however that is.

There will always be light at the end of the tunnel.
