I bought a couple of books last year and have another 3 that I got for Christmas... I always have a big "to be read pile! that never gets any smaller. This is the year it gets smaller! Yey!

Good to see you back KT!

I've got loads of books, some really good one, can't sell them though, all listed on Amazon for 1p! I'd be happy to send them across to you when you've finished your current pile!

All your other resolutions are very commendable too, I'm not able to stick to things that easily! Except the get out debt one, I think I can do that one :D

Just because I've written them all down doesn't mean I'll be able to stick to them all! I'm sure I'll give it a good go though.

Thats alright Kt, we shall make sure yout stick to them:rotfl:

Glad to see you back and i like the list of resolutions.

Reading books is one of my 101 things to do, got a great book for Christmas and already two thirds through it. Know what you mean about the book pile though, seems to get bigger but never smaller:o

Hope youve had a great start to the new year.

Hi Pavlovs - would you mind sharing what the 'real gems' were that you found? - I love to read, I read 30 books last year (fiction) and aim to try and top that this year

    Hi again!

It's good to see people jumping in, feel free to keep doing that, it's fun.

Absent yesterday, sorry, but after spending all day at work in front of a computer and knowing I had homework to do for my course I just wanted away from the computer screen when I was done.

I was a bad girl anyway yesterday. I gave in to the vending machine at work. I was bloomin' hungry though and a sandwich was going to be much quicker than heating anything up. Lesson learnt? Yes, don't let myself get starving hungry next time!

Other than that no spends (total spend £2.40)

I have plenty of food with me today so shouldn't need to go scavaging.

I also had yet another phone call with the council tax people. They are going to send me out yet another exemption form (that they claim to have already sent twice...) for the period my flat was empty and without kitchen/bathroom. Hopefully by this time next week it will all be sorted out and be one less thing to worry about.

I am hoping to pay my factors bill today (it's horrendous this time!!) but I may have left the bill in the house and have to do it tomorrow... drat.

Oh well, I officially started work 10mins ago so I better go get on with it.

I hope to get on again later though. Have a good day everyone.

    KT.
