Piq, Andan, Fay - I leave for a couple of days and you three take over my thread!

Oh well... someone had to keep it going I suppose.

Nothing much to update with me. I'm still spending a little too much but it is december so doesn't count (see my previous posts)

Here are the good things I have done

    - I am ticking off 'read origin of the species' from my 100things list. I read the intro and the first chapter. they took me 4 days... I'm calling that a win and leaving it at that. LIFE IS TOO SHORT!!!
    - I have been sky+ing like crazy, including such highlights as Barbarella and Dumbo (please don't judge me...)
    - All my presents are bought and wrapped - apart from one person who has really annoyed me and is leaving for a fortnights holiday on new years day. (that's not why she's annoyed me by the way) She can get hers on her return... I'm supposed to be her bridesmaid next year... good grief
    - My parent's are buying me double glazing for Christmas. It is all going to get sorted out in the new year.
    - The council tax people are still in the bad books but I think I have found all but one receipt to prove what they already knew, that this flat was not only unfurnished but unhabitable completely until I moved in.

Two more sleeps till Santa comes!

I best go get to bed and prove I'm still a good girl (STOP LAUGHING PIQ!!)

Sounds like you have made quite a bit of progress then whilst you were away and the rest of us took over!!

Double glazing from your parents, thats a lovely present and it no doubt means so much more as its actually something you want.

As for sky+ing dumbo, Christmas should be about doing what makes you happy. Figured this last night whilst crying to the ending of Overboard with Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn!! In fact my parents are giving me gift vouchers for xmas so i will be buying the dvd, its one of my fave films!!

Have a great Christmas and enjoy yourself:xmassign::xmastree::xmastree::snow_grin

What lovely parents KT! super present! Wish I had some way of recording, that's something I'll sort out when I'm debt free as one of my treats. Hoping that another treat will be having a gentleman to set it all up for me, we shall see...

We felt obliged to keep your thread going for you, soon I'm planning on adding to your list for you!

Have a lovely Christmas KT, see you soon
