Leaving my husband

Got a letterr from soliciter yesterday saying she had loged divorce papers with the court.
They will write to him, he needs to return the paperwork to the court. The courts will send the paperwork back to my soliciter. Once she recieves notification from the court she will write to me.
I feel that once he recieves notification from the court fireworks will happen. He does not seem to believe that i am going through with this. He keeps telling me "You have made the point now stop all this sillines and come home".
He just does not getthe message, he will when he recieves this paperwork.
I am not letting him stress me out any more, i just laugh at his emails if i can be bothered to read them.
Thanks for all your support.:j rolo-polo1965 :j0 -
He sounds a patronising pig rolo. What a flippin cheek he's got
Just keep doing what you're doing, you are getting there. Don't worry if he throws his toys out of the pram - it's only attention-seeking drama.
:beer:Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0 -
Hello Rolo,
Thanks for the update. You're sounding positive!
You say you think your OH will kick off...do you know at what point he will receive notification from the court? It might be worth checking this with your solicitor.
I'm sure you'll feel better as this finally procedure gets going. Glad to hear from you.
Best wishes,

I just read your thread. I didn't want to read and run, and figured I should add my voice to the other people in this thread and let you know that you're doing the right thing. This is not an automated signature - I type this after every post.0 -

i am feeling really p***** off. Why is it me that does everthing, washing, ironing, cleaning. Is it only me who wants to live in a nice house. I am not feeling well, i have a chest infection and still the kids want tea, clean clothes etc.
Sorry but i dont like to have a go at the kids they have enough to deal with at the moment without me having a go at em.
Sorry:j rolo-polo1965 :j0 -

Sorry
Just leave the washing and ironing for now.
Laughable really that you've come through so much and yet fret over a creased blouse!
If the kids don't like it , show them the iron.
As for "Sorry but i dont like to have a go at the kids they have enough to deal with at the moment without me having a go at em."
NO, no. You saved the kids. Remember the put downs etc? You removed them from the verbal abuse and Paternal apathy.
Think too Rolo, even though you're feeling ill at present, you have the joy of your children, creased clothes or not.0 -
Rolo,
you are allowed to be ill. Your body has probably been waiting for a bit of breathing space to do something about all the stress you have been feeling. Now things are a bit more steady, it's time! Always goes that way with me, anyway.
See it as a sign that the worst is over.
