Apple have roughly 3% market share of global computers. Are the other 97% wrong or just unenlightened?

Or perhaps they just keep on messing up too many orders and can't get the things out the door.

I've just checked the Apple website and my order for the Nikon has been cancelled. I call the helpline and they informed me the "end of line" camera is now out of stock!!!!
BOO-HOO.

Can anyone recommend a digital camera around the same price????

This is quite a long thread.....with a fair few "cancelled/not cancelled" postings along the way.

For the benefit of those (like me) who have come to this thread a bit late could someone summarise whether this deal is still current, any problems etc...

Last night spent about 15mins on hold to be told my order will be sent out on 09/01/06. Just checked my order on the website and it had been canceld. So just phoned up and they confirmed they have cancelled my order and a email will be sent out today. I think its a discusting company to deal with. what a waste of 40 mins and i bought a stupid nikon case off ebay Anyone else feel like getting in touch with watchdog???

Appe only have 3% of the market because everyone is duped by the almighty Microsoft.

If you want a stable platform then you should use either Linux or a Mac. Windows is extremely unreliable and has an awful inteface in comparison to a Mac.

Having said that I am using a windws machine as we speak.

By the way the Mac Cube is old and is unlikely to have OS X on it, try that and you will see what I mean.

I'd agree with you there pre Windows 2000, but Windows 2000 and especially XP are a great improvement on the reliability and interface side.

Exactly what happened to me. I've submitted my complaint about this to watchdog. FYI, the next Watchdog programme is Wednesday 11.01.06, so the timing could be bang on.

It's still on their website, I might ring and order another, now, just to see what happens.
