Rather annoyingly considering I put it in the e-mail tip, it seems many people are finding that once they order this item from Apple, after ordering and money being debited they are then being told the order has been cancelled. As such I wanted to put this warning in. This happens occassionally with high demand. It is a very poor show by the Apple store. I know BBC Watchdog are looking at this and I'm chatting to them about it - please be very careful.

This is a very good find for this camera, which has had some good reviews. Go to the Apple Store* and scroll down to the Mac Acessories category on the left hand side then click on Digital Cameras and Videos. The Nikon Coolpix 5200 is in the middle of the screen.

Saw this on another forum a couple of days ago. Great price for a well reviewed compact 5 megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom. Ordered mine on Tuesday and got a call from them today to confirm the order.

that IS a good spot actually, I paid 125 for this only last december.
Im not sure if its just mine though, the camera doesnt perform very well in low light and the shots are sometimes a bit shaky,
but daylight shots are absoloutely spot on.

Also Quidco offer 3% cashback for anyone whos up for it.

does it take quicktime movies or mpegs?
will it take movies for 1 minute?
and what kind of memory card?
does it take a picture the instant you press the button?

1. It takes movies in quicktime (.mov)
2. Errr, I think so (!) not sure, sorry

4. Im not sure what you mean by instant, but I dont find it instant, especially when you do the red-eye option, it seems to take forever for it to take the picture and display it on the LCD. I found it takes longer than my previous FUJI camera
