Thanks for clarifying poppy i must picked it up wrong when reading
EDIT: *runs* to look for the pigs!0 -
OK, can I pick your very crafty brains please.
My OH step-mothers husband (not OH dad) is 70 this year, and having a party. I can't go but the OH and kids will, so I need to make the effort and make him a card - don't really know anything about his interest or hobbies as we only see them once a year.
I thought perhaps of doing a card based on facts of 1939, but am struggling to find anything on UK websites, so I wondered if anyone has ever made a newspaper style card from scratch and was it easy to do.
Otherwise does anyone have any ideas of what I could do for a 70th male card, because I am really stumped - and although I hate to say it I may have to go out and buy one in the end. I have until the end of may to make something.
Thanks
Hi CT - here's some facts from 1939
I'm sure DD had a good birthday website - famous people who share your birthday, etc. I'll ask her later.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -

Thanks very much JailhouseBabe i'll take a look, and if your DD knows the birthday website then that would be great - it will give me more info to use.

No worries.

CT - just had a chat with DD, she thinks it was Wikipedia. I've just typed my birthday (without the year) into the search box, and got lists of events/births/deaths. I've left my bithday on the link (not hinting, lol), just because it has a calender at the top and bottom of the page where you can choose your own dates.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0
