Yay, fighting talk, sea - that's the spirit :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Hi Sea, so pleased for you that things have taken a step in the right direction.
Tiffmans in town do cheap mattresses if that would help with getting the bigger bed for DS, or have a ring round the bed places and ask about mattresses, they are often cheaper than you thinkIf you need a hand getting to yours, give me a shout, I'm more than happy to drop one off if it saves on delivery.
Once he has gone, it will no doubt feel strange, but I'm sure your confidence will grow and once again, the real Sea will emerge.
Hugs to you and the kids :grouphug:Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
oh you are all so lovely!!!
I'm not gonna buy the bed til the sales, so thinking it may have dropped down? Or perhaps argos isn't the only place? I'll look at some independents - they make give a good deal in sales for cash? Not really ever had to face any of this by myself, but think everything I do now will give me strength!
millyscarlet - I think def!! Go for it. He seems to have an awful lot of money at the moment considering and I think he's getting it from his family - so I also know he will not be short of money when he does move out.
beanielou- I'll see what is in the sales, I do think the bigger one may well be better.
sarah - yeah, looks like my life def will begin at 30!! Bring it on!! (eeeeeek!!!)
hypno - thanks hon - finally feeling my fighting spirit returning!
whatatwit (you know, until just now I always thought that read whatawit! think my reading is better)- thanks - that's really kind of you and will def check them out.xx
Am writing more to-do lists! lol

Sea I'm so glad things seem to be moving now! You will feel so much better - if very strange - when he's gone. The children will be more settled too - especially if you are less stressed. The CSA is the only way to go - I discovered this week that the court order I have which includes a section on child support - is not enforcable by the court - but can only be dealt with by the CSA! However the section that says I have to pay him 25k in 56 days is enforcable and if breeched he will acrue interest from me!!!- doesn't make sense!
Anyway - I know how hard this is for you - stay strong. It will be worth it x0 -

His share of the equity of the house! It has all gone through and the house is all mine!!! The morgage is too end it's huge! But at least the kids are happy and we have security and don't have to move! All went through on Friday! His harassment court case was cancelled again last week though! date is now 13th Feb - but at least his bail conditions still stand!
We just have to keep thinking 'someday it WILL all be over!'0 -

What makes me even more happy is I managed to get the mortgage offer i got in July extended (repeatedly!) It is O.99% above BOE base tracker for 2 years! So the repayment is now £310 less than the original quote due to interest rates dropping!!!! Finally some good luck - all through this site - did my mortgage homework!0
