Hi all
Thanks for the kind messages and thoughts. The funeral was ok - it was really nice, but obviously not as well and I am just not ready to say goodbye really. It helped to see a lot of friends and family and to share memories with them.
As for him, I'm hoping my solicitor will have drawn up the consent order that we can both sign tomorrow - and then he will leave tomorrow. I have the cheque to give him and things are just really bad between us. The children now know he has a girlfriend, as it's so obvious as he goes away for great long stretches of time, which doesn't bother the kids it seems. It certainly bothers me, especially as he takes the car. But, once he's gone, I really won't care what he gets up to - good riddence.
I have SO much to do it's making my head spin really. Lots more to do before christmas, and I also need to find, and buy, a car - I do not have an option about this as the taxis it would cost would be more than double the amount on a car.
I haven't done a single Christmas card, which is not like me, so I intend to write post christmas letters instead - got the stamps ages ago, so that won't be any extra expense. I've seen a thomas the tank bed in argos that I want to get for DS - but it's only up to ages 5 and he's alrady a big 3 yr oldGot given some money form one of my kind of like mum's in USA - about £125, which I'm going to use to buy the bed. There is another, bigger thomas bed but that's about the same price but without the mattress. I want to get this kind of bed as unfortunately will is still not sleeping in his own room or by himself and this mioght be a good way of bribing him lol. He likes the idea certainly, and I'm going to redo his room (here I come freecycle!!) to make it much more inviting and homely.
Tomorrow I'm off to Tescos to do a sop - got about £17 worth of money off coupons, so as long as I can get on a self-service till, I'll be okGoing to see if I can get the last min presents too - not much to get. Then also need to get a secret santa crafty present and go to the PO. As well as the solicitors. Gotta be done!
Hope you are all really well and not too fraught in the run up to christmas.

Hi Sea, I am glad that things are moving forward and hopefully tomorrow you can start the next phase of your life. The bed sounds great, and I am sure DS will love itSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes.
