Sorry to hear of your loss.

Please don`t let this distract you from the problem in hand, if anything use the grief to your advantage. The kids have lost someone too,and not HIM.

Sea, I'm sorry to hear this. I remember you saying about growing up in a commune, and it must have been shocking to find out about your mum. I hope you'll be able to talk with your other mums, including your (biological) mum. Lots of hugs, do look after yourself.

hi all - thanks for all the lovely messages of support- i cried on and off yesterday but went into school all the same and that was good as he was at home and it took my mind off it all.

Went to the sols with my friend, and have set down then path now. Going for full residency, with plenty of contact for him. He is going nuts. LIke, really nuts. Claiming he's going to get a court order to ban my mum from the house, going to bring up every little thing I've ver done and use the fact I'm on prozac against me. Yet right now he's still at his girlfriends since going there last night and hasn't called to see how kids are or anything. Just said he's going out tonight.

Good for you.Just carry on being strong..you are doing brilliantly. The courts will laugh in his face if he came out with that crap in court. He will have plenty of contact and that's all he's entitled to.He cannot ban your mum from the house ....whatever you've done in the past is irrelevant unless you were a danger to the children..which I know you're not and so would anybody else.Being on Prozac is it any wonder with the
stress and stuff he's put you through.
You have nothing to worry about .Honestly,he's like a two year old...having a temper tantrum.
If he is violently inclined (sorry don't know whether he is) and you feel threatened just call the police and get him removed from the property.

Well actually I'd say that counted against him...

Oh Sea I really feel for you! My ex and your ex sound like the same person! I know how hard it is to stay strong - but you are doing the right thing! My ex wanted shared residency - we tried it for a while - but it was a nightmare and the kids were so unsettled - for me the change came about by him going psycho and being charged with harassment - now his contact is very much on my terms! However I was given some good advice about fighting for residency - I will try to find the websites if you want - I had the same fears - he tried to acuse me of all sorts and made me out to be an unfit mother (tried to record me telling kids off etc)! but i was given reassurance that there was very little chance of him being granted residency - I wish you well - I know its sooo difficult!
