Different life - so new SOA!! Back once again :D

Hi all
Well, it's been a while since I've been on here and lots of things are about to change in our house. Once my solicitor pulls his finger out and the case gets to court and sorted, my soon to be ex-husband will move out. He is not going until the courts have ratified the care arrangements for the kids and the charging order on the house too.
Basically, the finances are a little muddled, but seem to be ok - he's taking car, tv, dvd player, xbox (whoohoo!!) and DD's bed (his mum bought it). I'll be left with everything else. We are still sharing costs until he moves out, but once he does, I've tried to work out a SOA as will be. Hard though, as obviously things are up and down with mortgage repayments - on a variable (rubbish) rate at the mo and will haev to transfer mortgage into my sole name, which may affect the rate i can get due to the debts that are all in my name.
He has a debt of £21000 to his work that was a relocation loan and he will pay this off - and will have a £21000 charge on the house, to be given when i sell the house, or when the kids reach 18.
The marital debt, which is all in my name and stands at about 20,500 now (yay!!) will be my responsibility as i will also take any equity left over from house - if that's clear? We've worked it through time and time again so is right!!
Care arrangements - there will be no maintanence as the children will be cared for equally between us (hmm...we'll see how that one works out to be honest) ant the child benefit and tax credit i will claim and then it will be split between the two of us.
I need a car for the first year as my son is still at the chlidminder until next august, and there is not another option of getting him there. So I intend to beg, borrow or steal (joking of course) any wreck of a car for that time.
So, SOA - as clear as i can make out so far anyway!
Income:
Wage - £1890
CB- £62.50 (as half will go to x-OH)
Tax credit - £20 (half to x-OH) no idea how much this will change at all - entitled to have given me amounts ranging from £20 to £100!!
TOTAL: 1972.50
Outgoings:
Mortgage 675
Council tax (with single person reduction) 80
Water 40
TV license 12
Gas 40
Electric 40 - a lot for these, but used to spend £60 on each, so this is cutting back, but will obviously try hard to get this under this.
Food (for me, the 2 kids when they are with me) 200?
Clothes (me and kids) 40?
Broadband, fixed line and free national calls £20
Mobile(contract, another 11 months) 15
House ins (messed up this year!) 25
British gas cover 19
School dinners 32
School visits/events 5
Childcare (my share) 243(i get vouchers for these but my brain hurts when i tried to work out exactly what went out)
road tax 10
Ins 30
Spares/servicing 20
Fuel 60
NUT 16
Prescriptions 8
TOTAL: 1630
Remaining: 342.50
Any surplus will obviously go to the CCCS DMP that I am on - I currently pay a lot more than this but hope that this will be ok.
This SOA doesn't have anything for entertainment, birthdays, christmas etc. I intend to scrimp on the food amount and get bday things from this, ent budget will have to be raised by ebaying, etc. I need to have a good amount of money to be able to pay the debt back, or I'm worried the CCCS might not accept it. Also I am really hoping that the mortgage drops slightly soon - but this is no guarentee obviously.
I also get the opp to do some exam marking in the summer, so this could go to py for a little holiday for me and the kids, anything that will go wrong with the house etc.
Ah well. Onwards and upwards, eh?

Good luck with it all sea, you seem to have things pretty much sorted now and i think things will only improve from now on. xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Sea hunny so good to have you back! You seem to have got the practical stuff sorted more or less, with a bit of tweaking that will happen along the way. But how are YOU? Ready for the excitement of life moving forward with you in control? This is a really positive step for you, and the tone of your posts today sounds as though you are feeling pretty good about it all - I hope that is the case!
