Think I'll start a new thread when he does go, and be around more

Am excited, but also scared, about this new start in my life. So many things I want to get done, and so much I want to change. I know it's got to be babysteps, but I can't wait to be able to do things without justifying myself all the time and getting abuse for things that might not work out the way they were supposed to. While my priority is my kids, I feel like a whole chunk of my 20s have been spent living my life according to someone elses rules, and that ain't never gonna happen again. So while I may only have, what, 7 days in my 20s...I can make sure things are different for my 30s!!

Hi there,
Just wanted to drop in and say hi...I've just read all this thread.
I split with my ex in March 2007 and even though he moved out and was usually pretty easy to deal with it was very hard, so I can imagine how hard it must be for you with your ex being in the same house AND being a g*t.
Anyway, myself and 2 daughters are all settled now, ex is useless and doesn't give any money, but apart from that everything is good. It will get easier for you...I was told that but couldn't imagine it;)
ANyway, I'll keep reading, hope all goes well with solicitor etc.

Thank you so much - that's good to hear
I intend to go to CSA as he is already being a !!!!!! saying he's only going to give me 15% blah blah blah. I just want it all done officially and then there is no room for emotional blackmail!

Hiya Sea, also haven't posted for ages but keeping up with whats going on...
So life begins at 30!?! I'm sure once he's gone, everything will settle down... you'll get your own routine, and play by your owns rules... you are gonna kick ar$£ at this lady!
CSA is definately the way to go, if nothing else it leaves a paper trail of what he does/doesn't pay!
Lovely to see you so positive, long may it continue
