Thanks
Right, been messing about on the computer and recovering from my not so tiny hangover. So, to do today:
*Wrap presents, parcel up ready to take to PO
*Go to PO!!
*Go to Abbey to change DD and pay in cheque.
*Collect photos of DS that I lost in tesco last night -grrr. Pick up photo frames for these pics to give as pressies.
*Sort out more of his stuff so that he can move out more easily.
Think that's enough for now - need to wrap all presents tonight as well - arghh!!CCCS DMP:Feb 07

That's good news about him going to today, you can start to relax tomorrow !!!
Write down everything that you are spending, preferably before you spend it, then you might think twice about it. Probably a good idea to write down what you expect to need to spend and then compare it to the reality of what you have spent, might give a little food for thought.
Hopefully once you relax a little the spending needs will stop.
Take care.

Hi all - thanks for the lovely christmas wishes - he ended up leaving at 5pm on christmas eve in the end, which was hard. I had a fabby christmas day with the kids - they are soo happy with all their presents, and I feel so happy knowing I didn't go into debt and got lots of things free/vouchers etc. lol
However, they went to their dad at 2pm and my mum left at about 3pm, and the day went rapidly downhill - I drank rather too much, and although I met my neighbours over the road, and they were lovely, after seeing them, I got a little unhappy - which then resulted in drinking more, falling all over the house, and generally being appalling - thankfully no one witnessed it, although thank god for my best mate, who kept in phone contact to check I was ok most of the night!!
I'm looking forward tho now - the hardest part has passed I think and the future is whatever I make it for me and the kidsSo bring on 2009!!!
He has got the kids tomorrow night so that he'll have Sophia on her birthday morning and then I'll collect them and take them to leeds for the rest of her bday and then mine. Off out with the other mum's from school (sophia's friend's mums) tomorrow night, which is quite exciting - hope to meet some new friends so that'll be lovely.
My mum is paying for me to get my haircut and the kids too, for my birthday so thinking might do something a little different, but not sure yet!
I hope you all had a wonderful christmas!
