oh grr grrrr grrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!ARGHHH!!! He's been gone 3 days and the !!!! as already started - first of all, 'might be here at 5 or maybe 6' to collect the kids, then a phonecall saying he was 10 mins away and then another phonecall saying he'd forgotten all Sophia's bday presents at his gf's and had to go back to get them so would be a while longer. !!!!!!. Easy to see where his !!!!ing priorities lie then.

Should have expected all this I guess, but still a shock.

Again, write it all down, Sea - keep a proper journal so that if there are ever any issues over access or finances etc, you can refer to your records rather than just say "he always lets them down".

But, this is going to happen again and again, of that I am sure, so take a deep breath and don't let it get to you - it simply isn't worth wasting your energy on right now.

I fully agree re the diary of events, just remember its u and the children that are the important part here, it sounds like if he is going to keep letting u down, u need to keep a diary, I know its a hard thing to do, but if or when it went to court, if he decided he wanted access to be done offically, at least u can say, this is what happened.

Were all here, if you need anything at all, just pm and if I can help I will xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

oooh - how good do I feel?!!?
Wow!! A new start - I turned 30 on Monday :D and now a brand new year - what could be better?! I got some really thoughtful pressies and am really lucky!

Sophia's birthday party went really nicely - she had LOADS of presents - so I was glad I only gave her 2 little things!

Now, I am in the mood to get this bcard down - my dad gave me some money - now I have been a little bad and bought something, but still got lots of it left so will be deciding how much to save for emergencies (my car is making horrid noises!!) and pay perhaps £250 to the bcard. I will look at all finances tomorro w- going to have an early night tonight and get up early and try to get the kids back into a routine.

New Years Eve was a completely sober one - a friend came over and it was wonderful. :)

Soo happy that I'm starting the new year with the kids and although, it's a little scary being a single parent (don't get me started on what he's done now!!!), I'm VERY happy to be single lol.

Many many wishes to you all for a fabulous year to come!!
