Well, the plus point is that you have already got your first Christmas out of the way - it is always tough doing the first of everything, so this one is done and dusted!

And no one would criticise you for drinking too much and behaving appallingly at that stage. Just make sure it doesn't continue!

Good for you for looking forward - with haircuts, new friends, new starts.....all good stuff! You deserve to be happy, you are a lovely person, and I truly wish you all the best with the Children for your new life.

    Happy 2009 xxxx

ooh - just seen pandapaw's complete this challenge challenge and it looks great - but finding it hard to think of things that I can *really* do. My payments are so much smaller that my debt won't be paid asquickly as before and it's a little disheartening. Now, I know I'm on my DMP, but was thinking if i started to do lots of concentrated effort at the smallest one, barclaycard, with savings and stuff going to it - and try to pay it off? It might just be what I need to focus on the money - as I keep just spending on silly stuff.

You can work wonders with a bit of focus - so if it is time for the barclaycard to be hammered to within an inch of its life, then so be it!

    Xmas Saver!
Glad u got through xmas ok, the 1st is always the hardest, sounds like u have great friends and family.

As well as focusing on bashing barclaycard, try to think of surveys, cashback as both, one a head banger for Barclaycard, but also try to have something for urself.

I know ur having haircuts etc, but without sounding cheeky, thinking money saving, have u got a local college that does health and beauty, really cheap as the students are learning, supervised by tutors, great treat at the fraction of the price of a normal beauty salon. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
