Sounds like a great day for most. Sorry to read about 2cats1kid.

For some reason this evening I feel the most relaxed I have for weeks, or is it nearly two months!, Half way through a bottle of red now and fuly expect to finish it before the night is too old  .

I feel as though we have all been on a roller coaster ride that is beginning to slow down. Although I received my 2nd email and cash last week I have followed the ups and downs of those of you who had yet to hear and now that it is coming to an end it is like saying goodbye to 'friends' . I would like you all to raise three cheers for nilram who started this thread in the first place and gave us the chance to share our worries. It has been very helpful and most entertaining and I feel sorry in a way that it will probably wind down.Good luck to you all and thank you.
  • As far as I'm concerned, in the words of that great philosopher, Porky Pig, "That's all folks".

    See you next crisis.

It does feel like some sort of weight has been lifted from me too

Without forgetting about Vectra, it does look like everyone has got their second emails or had the mis-fortune of the paper application (sad about 2 cats). And while the money isn't in the accounts it does feel that it is all over for most and it's time to celebrate :j

Popped out to the supermarket and happened upon a bottle of Pendle Witches which I am about to consume so cheers. :rotfl:

Would quote the final speech in Macbeth but that is surely amistupid's honour to do at some point.

There was word from me - several in fact, all very depressed. I really am happy for you folks but I just want to cry right now. I have had a letter, no 2nd email and no initiate, so it looks like I have another 6 weeks to go while they sort out the paper based route. I am so hacked off I'm just about numb now, I just want to be able to move on and I can't. In fact between Christmas and cheques having to clear and all, I'll be lucky if I see my money in my account before the end of January now.

Feeling a bit sorry for myself
Any chance you could you glance over your form and tell us if the bar code is the same as here?

If it is, I'm not going to bother hanging around any more.
    TIA
  • Thanks Sloughflint for setting up your polls. They've been invaluable throughout this and good luck with your paper application.
