I'm sure a few of us will be back tomorrow morning - force of habit - and will log on from time to time.

Thanks again for all the laughs and support.

    Goodnight all.

Here already reporting for duty!! :rotfl:

    Hi Sloughflint,

I can't see any download there - it says no free download slots available  am I doing something wrong?

The one I have has BAR2-2717892 underneath the bar code and 013922 beside it. I'd imagine it's a barcode for the form rather than anything unique to an individual - can't see them being so sophisticated as to have personalised the barcode for me!

HTH (will have a try again a little later in case I manage then)

Thanks for looking. Those are totally different numbers which is very disappointing. My money now received but still no paper application:mad:.
    Good luck with yours.

Thanks Sloughflint for setting up your polls. They've been invaluable throughout this and good luck with your paper application.
Thank you. I'll do a last one tomorrow.
  • Just checked my bank account and all the money from my Icesave accounts as now landed safetly back home :j

So as mentioned by others thanks everyone for your support and friendly banter over the last weeks. I really feel like a big weight has been taken off my back and I'm sure that I'm walking taller :D

I'd also like to thank "Man at FSCS" I think everything started to speed up once he joined our Forum ;)
  • Well, I initiated my claim on Tuesday, and the money is in my account today, so, nilrem, your millions are not far away from their rightful home now mate. :j

Also, reading the last few pages of this thread reminds me of when you say your last goodbyes to some people when you're leaving school at 16. I'm gonna cry. :)
  • Hi All - Final post as such on this thread I think.
Money arrived today - from initiating Tuesday - now that I am impressed with - only bit of this sorry saga.
So off to move it from Lloyds who will be calling today to try to sell me something ridiculous and speak to Principality about paying off mortgage.

This thread has been a great solace to us all but thank God it is over for most of us. Good luck to the paper claimants and as the saying goes

Good Night (morning) and Good Luck

It is great to be able to log on here and not be feeling frustrated for the first time. I never used the MSE site but now find myself strangely addicted to it.

See you all in cyberspace :T .

    :hello: Good morning campers,

Has everyone got theirs sorted now? My money from ISA and eSaver both arrived in my current account today! :j

Thanks again for all the support, looks like the battle is over!
  • Good morning. A bit of a weird feeling now that it is over for most of us.

I had two accounts, one being a term one, ending on 16th December. I have elected to let it run the term and therefore go into 'paper' route. Is this the next source of stress? Firstly waiting for the form and then waiting for it to be actioned in possibly six weeks' time after that  . I'm getting so used to this stress, I'm not sure what I would do without it now :rotfl: .
