I'm sure a few of us will be back tomorrow morning - force of habit - and will log on from time to time.

Thanks again for all the laughs and support.

    Goodnight all.
  • Just want to say a big thank you to Nilrem for setting up the thread and for being so human and decent throughout. And to amistupid for keeping spirits up 14 hours a day. And for chameleon for…..well for being the amiable chameleon. And to everyone else who contributed in helping each other out.

And if Tesco Finance or Birmingham Midshires go under, we may be meeting up again but in the nicest possible way, let’s hope not :D

    Good luck all

  • Delighted to hear today's good news although feeling sorry for 2 cats.

Nilrem, you've been a star and I don't want to hear any more of this nonsense "I can't take the credit, its been all of you, etc. ......" You started the thread and saved our sanity so you've got to take the credit and all our grateful thanks.

So good night to all. Let's have a Happy Christmas.

  • 2cats - still thinking of you

I think we will all have withdrawal symptoms if we don't come back here from time to time after this extremely stressful period. Feel sad now though of course my wife still has her paper claim for the ISA in limbo. That should keep us busy for another few weeks at least.

Like the last day of school before summer holidays, who is the lucky kid who gets to take the hamster home!

It's kinda sad people coming in here to say their goodbyes, I hope you all stick around and post in other threads in the future, I look into the forum everyday as I have done for quite a few years now, first as a lurker then a poster.

Some of us are going to find it quite strange not coming straight here in the mornings or whenever they normally did to check on the latest Icesave news etc, I liken it to the Tour de France, for three weeks the riders sign in and race for the day and on the Monday after the finish they have got so used to it over the previous 3 weeks that they don't know what to do with themselves when the race ends!:D

I am of course glad that for most of us the Icesave fiasco is at an end It's been a real pleasure chatting to so many people that it seems sad that it's finally over.
