What if anything are any of you going to treat yourself to? I'm going to get a giant American fridge and fill it with good quality lager, no more Tesco's own for me. :D

I spent a few hours being pampered at the hairdressers yesterday and have placed a huge order at Thornton's :EasterBun

I've also splashed out on a new handbag, shoes and a pair of boots in the sales at Faith this afternoon :j

I bought the dog a nice new collar and a bone. Nothing for me yet. Think I might pop over to Woolworths at the weekend ... oops!

I never actually got to speak to a real person, but there is a thread about paper claims and a couple of people on there have been told that once you have the form there's nothing else you can do but go down that route?

I'll see if I get an email/can initiate tomorrow, and if not I'll send it off on Saturday so they can get cracking on it first thing Monday :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm seriously considering spending it on bankrupt stock at MFI, actually. Could do with a new kitchen....

I can only assume since it was funded with a transfer in, they reckon there isn't a linked account, although someone said (on this thread?) that on the form to open the ISA you had to give a linked account? Dunno. That's all I can think of.

That was me. My ISA was also entirely and solely funded by a transfer in and I received my second and third e-mails yesterday. As part of the signing up process you had to supply bank account details "to enable you to transfer money in and out". I've got the "confirmation of the set-up of your direct debit instruction" letter in front of me as I type.

I hope that all works out well for you.

  • I reckon GB phoned up La Minghella and gave her one of his proverbial blasts so that all the Icesavers on this thread got their money today (in a manner of speaking - when will we get it in the bank btw ?) and activated retail therapy in crazy relief ,in order to save his VAT cut from further humiliation.
