    OMG I am of course pleased for you Susie :) but I feel even worse now, am I really going to be the last one left here without any hope?:mad:

    I had totoall y lost all hoep after yesterday but I was proved wrogn so I am fully confiemdet that you will all get it.......

    I am not leaving you, but just wanted again to say a MASSIVE thanks to you all and I still think we should have a re-uninon....may be we can sort this via the forum. I am out a lot today but will be checking in late (and in the days ahead) to be sure youall get sorted!!

    No I am sure you wont be the last and seincelry hope not, as you so brilliantly set this up. I woudl judt keep tryign today...second email still not had yet so just keep checking. I had tried at least twice 2day and then suddenly all way different............keep the faith mate.......youve and all the others have been amazing................:A

    Thought it was about time I actually posted on this thread.

    I too am still waiting for my 2nd email. Tried to initiate without it today but no luck.

    Fingers crossed they come today!

    My sincere apologies Sir but I am not able to intervene in the mail out process but I can assure you that if I could you would have been top of the list ..
    As for the Computer, it's chugging along just fine in fact we've only had to replace 2 valves and a sticky "submit batch" button in the last week. However the teleprinter in the corner is struggling with printing the incomming mails and the 9.6K modem is on it's last legs...

    Thanks!! Just had another look at what I have printed off and it actually says "claim date 25th" so I reckon they set it all up, on the basis that they intend to email you the following day...but of for some reason you doen get email you can at least initiate....


    stop press.... just got the email entitiled "Icesave Update" :


    ! Over 100,000 second emails inviting people to log on to the Icesave website to make their claim have now been sent. If you have completed the process already, please ignore this email.

    For customers who did not receive our first email in the initial mailing, and only received it by emailing our special email address or have still not received it, we have some additional advice.

    Batches have now been released which include second emails for some of you. These are much less likely to be held in spam filters than the first email. However, in case they are, we suggest that you check your account online once a day at a similar time to see whether your account can be initiated. If it can, this would indicate that your second email has been sent but you have not yet received it.

    If you find you can initiate the process, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible, having read the copy of the second email, which can now be viewed on our website at the following address: https://www.fscs.org.uk/consumer/icesave_invitation_email. To go directly to the instructions, you can copy https://www.fscs.org.uk/consumer/icesave_invitation_email into the address line of your web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer).

    If you cannot initiate the process, you can check again daily until your second email arrives or you find you can activate the process, whichever comes earlier.

    Kindly note that, to avoid congestion in the system, which will slow the process for you and others, we are still discouraging those who received the first email without difficulty from attempting to initiate before receiving the second email.

    If you experience any difficulties with the process, please seek assistance by calling Icesave’s Customer Services Helpline on 0845 605 6050.

    For those of you who are still waiting, we recognise that you are anxious to complete the process. We would like to assure you that your money is safe, and that we are committed to ensuring that you receive your compensation as soon as possible. We remain on track to offer the vast majority of Icesave customers the opportunity to claim their compensation in November.
