I'll give the FSCS a ring in a mo and see if I can get some news.

Thanks, I know. It just gets harder and harder though. I am "not gaining" over £90 in interest per day (after allowing for tax), so as soon as it crosses another weekend that is £270 gone. I'm desperate to get some of the fixes still available as I do not have a job and the interest on this account was paying my bills.

Sorry, just feeling very frustrated, but still know deep down that I should not be as a loss of the capital would have been life changing for me.

Christ, that's rough! You must have had a fair few pounds in there! Not sure really what to say ... I ran out of positive feelings about this whole thing weeks ago.

I will ring the FSCS now.

After earlier positive feelings the gloom has spread over me again! Even Screwfix has only sent me one email this morning but I live in hope of getting further screwfdix emails later!:D unlike an FSCS one which doubt I will now never receive, I feel a long winded battle with them to get my savings back!

Keep the faith. I was in the depths of despair and then lo and behold my 2nd email arrived yesterday afternoon. Claim process was straightforward and now rather than checking my inbox I am checking my nominated account to make sure dosh arrives safely.

Wife is still waiting for her 2nd email but it will come.

    Mine still says 25th!!!!!!!
I am really hopeful today. If so many were allowed access yesterday, it would be feasible that a good fair view will be allowed today.

    Mine too!

But now I can't stop checking that blooming initiate button!!!!
I'm sure I will be sooooooooo shocked when/if it actually does let me make my claim :j :j :j

Right. Not terribly conclusive, I'm afraid:

    1. Emails are still being sent in random batches of 10,000 (until the end of November).

    2. There is absolutely no correlation between the date at the bottom of the statements and the despatch of emails.
  • Still here on behalf of hubby, no 2nd e mail for him yet. DD and I got ours yesterday.
Just tried his initiate button, but nothing. So the wait continues.

It goes without saying, but could all those still waiting please post as soon as they have managed to initiate their claim (as it's coming up to crunch time).

    Many thanks.
