Hello, still no email at my end and it won't let me initiate either. What's more, my date on "cleared balance" has now changed from the 25th to the 26th - not sure what to make of that.

I still have not had a second email but initiated my claim last night although still have not had an email acknowledging claim like some have. Tried to log in just to see if i still could but it just keeps saying my password is incorrect. Not sure if everything is going to go through all right - just be glad when the money is in my bank account then I can finally stop worrying!0

Keep the faith, I kept believing and not panicking, and my 2nd email came at the weekend and the money has arrived this morning.

Clearly that date is rolled over during the business day rather than overnight. I'm now hitting a downer after my initial high. I even dug out the various fixed rate forms I have gathered together with my cheque book to start the process of reinvesting :mad: . Now I just feel crap.0

25th or 26th, the fact remains the same that with so many people getting their 2nd emails yesterday then it is highly likely that we will get ours today ... or tomorrow ... or the day after that ... :eek:0

The confirmation email (one per account) took about seven hours for me and others have reported longer. You can log into the account until around the point the confirmation is sent, so that the fact that you can't log in probably means that it has been sent or is imminent. As long as you got the on screen confirmation that compensation had been processed when you initiated you should be OK.
THe confirmation comes from a different email address [EMAIL="fscs@savings.icesave.co.uk"]fscs@savings.icesave.co.uk[/EMAIL] so may have been spammed by your spam filter.MSE. Abandon hope all ye who enter here0
