Obviously like everyone else I shall be delighted to receive my money and finish with the whole Icesave fiasco but I shall be a little sorry to see this thread disappear because although initially we had a few 'snotty' messages most people posting here have shown how many decent people there are in the world and for the last two and a half weeks there has been harmony here with none of the b!tch!n!ss and one-upmanship one finds in many forums today.

    b!tch!n!ss Damn that profanity filter!

Well done to Arsenal last night for getting through to Champions League last 16. Not a particularly convincing win, but a win is a win!

I think the best news today so far has been ... no FSCS letter through the post!

I was thinking that last night. 'Twill be sad in a way when all this is over. The support offered here over the last few weeks has been absolutely amazing. It has helped me immensely. However, I do feel that we tended to feed off each other's panic somewhat, a bit like frenzied lemmings.

Perhaps we could set up a thread that rumbles somewhere in the background - Icesave Survivors' Thread (like the Kaupthing one) - where people can visit when they have the time, to catch up on the jokes, have a bit of banter, compare no smoking news (or not!!) and generally have a laugh.

    Are you up for it?

Wow, this thread really has the feel as if today is the day for those still waiting :j .

Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope that if it is to be it will be for all and not just the "vast majority" of us.

It's getting very quiet in here now, I reckon most have got their cash and moved on!:o:cry:

I'm still here. Have checked in every day even though I have got my money.
I am desperate for you all to get your money back but will miss this thread when it's all done and dusted. Perhaps we should have a reunion?

BTW when I initiated my account there was slightly more in than when I did a print out when Icesave went belly up - so interest must have been added.

Fingers crossed for you all today:snow_laug

A better analogy may be rats deserting a sinking ship, or at least trying to! ;)
