Thank you for checking oql, though the news about no correlation is jolly disappointing. I am going abroad tomorrow until Sun and was really hoping that this would be all over before then. :mad:

PS. Just tried again to initiate as it is past mid-day now, but absolutely no change. Very frustrating.

Just tried to initiate the claim yet again, no joy! But the date of Cleared Balance has now changed from 25th November to the 26th November.

Dear Comrades

After a lousy night and a lousy morning (with still no second email) , I have jst arrived bakc in and had problmes gettig on the Icesave site. All my log in deatils had dissaperad, howver after total paninc, I tried agin and almost ***t myslef whne the page had chancged and there it was!! I can claim! If it nay help, I had already treis twic this morning with no jiyy. Also, and this is important....when I logged on earlier the calread balcne said 26th, HOWVERE thsi tiem it said 25th!! So those of you still waigiin it could and almost ceraitnly will happen today!!!:T:T

I had totoall y lost all hoep after yesterday but I was proved wrogn so I am fully confiemdet that you will all get it.......

I am not leaving you, but just wanted again to say a MASSIVE thanks to you all and I still think we should have a re-uninon....may be we can sort this via the forum. I am out a lot today but will be checking in late (and in the days ahead) to be sure youall get sorted!!

Eh I have just though of something, if I post my account number and password here perhaps you would get yourself on the Icesave computer (is it a BBC model BTW?) and sanction my account for initiation especially as you are so grateful!:eek::rotfl:

Sorry if I’ve contributed to any false hopes, but I was a bit puzzled by all the references here to statement dates as I didn’t check my statements again whilst claiming. I managed to log back in!!!! and the 24 Nov date I got was after hitting the initiate button, I can’t remember whether I ever got a date at this point before or just the usual ‘bog off’ statement.

Don’t fret all - you will get your emails or even be able to initiate beforehand – remember my 2nd email came 4 hours after I had claimed, and I hadn’t logged into the site for at least 36 hours beforehand, so who knows when I could have claimed if I had tried more persistently.

Seems no-one has reported a claim today so there's got to be an imminent flurry soon I reckon.
