Where's The Boss?
To be honest folks, I've had enough
Now it's time to play it tough
They've got our money in a stack
I'm storming down to get it back
Heavy traffic's not a pain
I'm flying down the cycle lane.
Bursting in, about half three
"Hit the deck. Don't mess with me!"
Viewing cameras not a fear
Dressed up in me Batman gear
Lycra shorts conceal a cosh
Typing pool all yelling "Gosh!"
Run in to Loretta's den
Withdraw me tool."Where is it then!"
"It's in the safe I'll get it now."
"Well hurry up you silly cow"
Pack it quickly in me sack
"Ring the cops and I'll be back!"
Got the lot can't carry more.
Exit through the fire door
Back on bike, go like hell.
Clear the path with cycle bell.
Soon back home, share the loot
Done and dusted, what a beaut!
The moral of this story
is very plain to see
You may mess with me money,
but never mess with me!
Brilliant! You've missed your calling, mate!
(Unless, of course, you're a cycling poet!)0 -
Just to say I'm still here in support team. Check up twice a day even if not posting that often. Not going anywhere until everyone is sorted - and I'm sure that goes for lots of us. Put me down as a member of the Survivors Club.
The stress and wear & tear of this whole experience is really quite serious although everyone's making the best (?) of it. May it soon all be over so we can go into recovery.0 -
Just off to take the dog for a walk. It's not HIS fault that the FSCS have, in their infinite wisdom, chosen me to be among the last on the list and compel me to sit glued to my computer.
Hoping there's some more good news within the next hour ... but I have my doubts.0 -
TBH I am totally sick to the teeth of all this logging in with no success, just tried again and as usual I was rejected!
I think I am going to have a break from the forum because when I keep reading of people who have got their money I get even more depressed, don't get me wrong I am pleased for you but I feel totally left out TBH.
Good luck to everyone.0 -
I for one, with 61K STILL locked up, will be doing everything I can to claim back the lost interest. I hope others will see fit to do the same.
Totally agree with you, another poster can't remember his name  , who unfotunately put too many salts in his bath and dissolved, used to get absolutely slated for mentioning loss of interest.
I've contacted the Financial Services Ombudsmen Office and was told that the loss of interest issue was not being dealt with by them but by the FSCS themselves. I have recently won a 3 year battle with the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme, and was eventually awarded an extra £15.000, but it really takes it out of you, fighting the system, and you've got to ask at an early stage is it really worth it. Apart from that I must have spent nearly ten grand in time, petrol, phone calls and other correspondence expenses. I did however get to know my local MP very well, we're still on first name terms
There my 700th posting and at last a reasonably serious one! :eek:In memory of Chris Hyde #8670
