After reading the recent posts, I thought I'd also login without having received a second email, and I too have been able to now initiate my claim.
    Cheers!

No joy for me. God, this is getting tedious! Did you get the disclaimer too before you pressed initiate button?

Just tried again all I get is
If you do not see any options below then you are currently unable to initiate your FSCS claim. Once you have received your email notification please log back into your account and initiate your FSCS claim.
    As per usual!:mad::mad::mad:

Are there many of us left now still tearing our hair out?
Time for a roll call of those still without I think!

My 2nd email arrived 3 minutes after I posted on here that I'd managed to do the claim, at 13.51. I think they "switch on" a batch of accounts and then send out the emails. Because of the volume of emails going out, I presume this will take several hours, hence the break between activation and receipt of email. As I've been typing this, my confirmation of claim emails have
    just arrived.

I expect that means there won't be another batch today.

Certainly not forgotten. Many thanks for starting this thread and keeping us all entertained and comforted that we were not alone. Hopefully you'll all be sorted by the end of the week. I suspect some new threads re - where's my paper claim, and where's my ISA certificate may follow yet!

Wonder if there's a spelling mistake in there somewhere for harrowing - wouldn't be surprised. And 'no' couldn't be bothered to download their spell checker.

mmm now 13:54 and we've just received 6 emails confirming request for transfer. BUT still no sign of the 2nd emails to inform us that we could initiate the transfer ..

2nd email just received 1hr and 15mins after we completed the transfer ..

    INTERESTING Touch :-
Myself and the wife share an email account and when we received our first emails we had no way of knowing which was which. However, the second email clearly states who it is intended for i.e Mrs C or Mr C..

Yep. I believe there can't be many left now.

I never tried it once and still waiting... seriously thinking of it though

Well worth a try at least. It won't affect any future 'initiates'.

Yes, as soon as I'd entered my memorable whatever-it-was, the disclaimer screen was first to show. So you'll know before you get to the account screen.
