I'm really concerned that I may be one of those to whom the FSCS are sending letters which I haven't received yet (plus ca change). Apparently some guy on another thread rang up the FSCS about his letter (as he obviously had nominated account and 1st email) and was told that they were having server problems (?) and the only way to clear the backlog was through this route. He had no option but to apply via paper route.

Anyone heard anything else on this matter?

Absolutely sick to the teeth of this TBH just tried again and get

if you do not see any options below then you are currently unable to initiate your FSCS claim. Once you have received your email notification please log back into your account and initiate your FSCS claim.

casabiosca has posted on another thread that he also has no email nor been allowed to initiate (but don't quote me on it - perhaps better to wait till he comes on here).

Sorry to have to report this Sir, but on my return home from opticians appointment 2nd e-mail was waiting for me. Looks like the Andrews etc did the trick after all.

I too was getting to the stage you are at, of thinking it will never arrive, and I'd be phoning on 4th Dec.

I really hope you all get sorted very soon.

It's a bit of an anti-climax now, but also a great relief to know it's all over...bar the shouting.

PPS e-mail arrived at 14:11 about the time my optician was puffing air in my eyeballs to test for glaucoma....fortunately my eyeball pressures are OK...more than can be said for all our blood pressures over the last few weeks
