            Another Newsflash
For the hell of it I tried initiate claim without the email and
 IT WORKED
I feel a bit anticlimatic now - just a bit relieved and I tried initiate every day so I don't think it affects your chances.
I guess I better sign into the "Received 2nd email thread" (On behalf of DD) which I started 150 years ago or so it seems
Good luck to you all still waiting. I will drop in again tomorrow and I sincerely hope none of you are still here0

After reading the recent posts, I thought I'd also login without having received a second email, and I too have been able to now initiate my claim.
 Cheers! :beer:0

Gerontius has kindly posted an example of the (?a) paper claim, for those that have been asking....

Sorry to be posting this cause believe me I know how you all feel. _pale_
Having seen some had logged into Icesave on the off chance and had managed to initiate their claims, and having resisted the temptation to try yesterday, I thought I'd give it a go. Hey presto all accounts initiated, and claims made. Still have not received the second e-mail!!! First arrived without problems.
Hang on in there everyone, I'm now convinced 'your time will come', although I'm sure you're not.0

Well I have recievd my second email now. 12pm today. So they are still coming through, don't despair.
However, don't seem to be able to log into the website, just hangs and hangs without loading up the username/password screen. Judging by this thread, probably overloaded with all those logging in who haven't received the email just to see whether its possible to activate.... :-)
Hopefully I'll have more luck later.0

Just consoled myself with a huge order of half-price choccies from Thorntons :EasterBun :EasterBun
Just placed my order. Always been partial to Continental, but went for some Whisky Truffles too. And I'm still smoking!
Well done for hanging on in there!0

My 2nd email arrived 3 minutes after I posted on here that I'd managed to do the claim, at 13.51. I think they "switch on" a batch of accounts and then send out the emails. Because of the volume of emails going out, I presume this will take several hours, hence the break between activation and receipt of email. As I've been typing this, my confirmation of claim emails have just arrived.Sheryl
 An Icesaver no more :T0

I never tried it once and still waiting... seriously thinking of it thoughYou don't suppose that clicking that Initiate button gefore the email really does put us to the back of the queue does it? I have been checking once a day without success!
Can anyone confirm or deny categorically that clicking initiate before it's sanctioned does not make things worse?
FWIW the postman has been and no letter either!:mad:0
