Icesaver, I don't blame you for reaching that decision.I think this awful delay will make a lot of the people still waiting change their minds about leaving the bonds where they are. It's causing a lack of confidence for any future dealings.0

Ahh thanks for that.
Interestingly as a side note from the ISA forum its been suggested the FSCS wont be issuing ISA Certificates till near the end of Decemeber.
Is there anything legally from stopping me from putting my ISA cash in a normal high interest savings account while I wait for the certificate or should I technically leave it in the bank where the compensation is paid?
I honestly can't see why not and I will be moving mine into Egg 6.3% until I decide what to do with it, if I should ever receive that elusive 2nd email that is “You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

I was seriously going to give up when my cheapies from Spain had run out.
That coincided with the ICESAVE disaster so no hope - always an excuse but but if this is ever over then I will (give up )0 -

Well done - I wish I had your will power. At least you've only ordered the chocs and not eaten them yet - but you cannot beat chocolate for consolation.0

Still nothing in my email box. I'm giving up hope. Time for a class action by all the people who clearly aren't being allowed to claim their own money.0
