Icesaver, I don't blame you for reaching that decision.I think this awful delay will make a lot of the people still waiting change their minds about leaving the bonds where they are. It's causing a lack of confidence for any future dealings.

Is there anything legally from stopping me from putting my ISA cash in a normal high interest savings account while I wait for the certificate or should I technically leave it in the bank where the compensation is paid?

I honestly can't see why not and I will be moving mine into Egg 6.3% until I decide what to do with it, if I should ever receive that elusive 2nd email that is :mad:

Been wondering that myself, far too much to keep in a current account esp as smile have reduced rate to 0.28%

I was seriously going to give up when my cheapies from Spain had run out.
That coincided with the ICESAVE disaster so no hope - always an excuse but but if this is ever over then I will (give up )

:j Just logged in at 13:15 on the off chance and bothe mine and the wifes accounts had been activated ... Initiated the transfer of 4 accounts for the wife + 2 of mine. It's now circa 13:30 and have received no 2nd emails ...
