GULP! didn't realise you had to respond to any e-mails? or are these people who had to force 1st e-mail then respond to say they had now received 1st e-mail?:confused::confused:
That's precisely what you were doing in the process of"forcing" the 1st email - by sending the bank reply to their auto-respond email you were confirming receipt, so if you did this you're OK (insofar as fulfilling your side of the bargain).

6 days to go before they told us to call *sigh*
I'm slowly losing any hope :(

I even tried to initiate on the site without a mail, just in case it had been lost, when I said I'd never do that....

My first e-mail came through OK though I didn't have to force it. Love to be able to force No.2 (but could lead to piles :o)

    Just re-read my first e-mail
duly noted : We hope that this communication has explained what to expect. Please now wait for the next email which will invite you to seek payment of compensation. You do not need to do anything more until you receive your next email. (wipes brow)

Checked e mail at 11.58, found 2nd e mail had arrived 11.42. Done my claim now, went fine, just got to wait (5 days?) for the money to arrive, then however long for my ISA certificate before I can reinvest.

Husband and daughter STILL waiting, so 1 down and 2 to go. All feels like a bit of an anticlimax now!

Hope everyone else gets theirs soon, will report back when (if) other 2 get theirs. Good luck everyone!

Ok, sorry - misunderstood! My no.1's and no. 2's came through naturally without recourse to Andrews ;)

  • still no no.2, still unable to initiate
Reading the posts about people getting letters in the post - I'm feeling sick. I have tried to stay optimistic but it has all evaporated today :(
