I got mine today, pleased with my first order
I collected it from DHL but if you leave a letter with them , you have to sign their approval letter at their office they will leave it in a special place ie the back garden or something, the packaging was well strong too so good for bad weather. so no more trips to the courier either x
Don't need to sign anything. They will dump it anywhere just so they don't have to take it back to the depot0 -

Exactly the same product is £2.79 a jar in Asda.
Thanks, I will try it out on the kids first and see what they think! :eek:0 -

I'm pleased to hear about new suppliers- the soup sounds good. I agree that some of the deals are available in pound shops- but my pound shop is in town and there is no way I want to carry huge amounts of stuff home with me. Equally, some of the stuff is far more drastically reduced. Sorry to harp on about stuff that isn't on the site now, but I am still using jars of tesco kids pasta sauce that were 6 for 50p. That has saved me loads of money over the last few weeks- as has all the packed lunch faves.
A lot depends on what you buy- and I think any shop is entitled to offer stuff to people at the price they can afford and see if people want it. No-one is forcing the stuff into our baskets, and if for convenience people add in a few full price things, that is up to them- isn' it? Tesco and Asda sell loss leaders at times that will compete with the prices at AF- so what? I doubt anyone is going to buy all their stuff from AF- I know those fruitabus claim to be one of your 5 a day, but we are all going to be shopping around for stuff still.
i just called, it looks like my order is missing in the warehouse0 -
the people that are getting their orders quick, are those who placed small orders, so say AF0

I think those people (albeit only a few) complaining should quit being selfish and greedy!
Dans business has just gone from being a small outfit on the corner of town, to a national business overnight!!!
Give the guy a break, i think he is coping tremendously with the sudden change, and the fact that he has been so polite to give us updates is fantastic customer service!
So a few of us will miss out on things we wanted because it went out of stock, so a few of us can get stuff as cheap elsewhere. The bottom line is though Dan is offering most of us bargains beyond our wildest dreams! For those items that are slightly cheaper elsewhere, i don't care...I don't want to sit in traffic, take an hour out of my day, and carry bags and bags when i can get it all delivered to my door along with my other fantastic buys from his site! Bargain!!
Ultimately you WILL get your order, and if anything is out of stock you WILL get refunded for it....so what exactly are you losing?? Quit being impatient!
I think some forget that Dan has a family and a real life of which he has put both on hold to try and cope with the sudden influx of orders.... and who is he doing this for? US!!!
Thank you Dan for a wonderful website! I will be ordering time and time again!!!2008 wins: £1713.20
