Anxious to do my first order and wondering what exactly next week is - should I be at the starting gate first thing Monday moring? Sunday? Sometime mid week? :rotfl:

Can't wait to order, but almost hate to and add to their headaches!
Well, he did put some stuff up last night, so if I were you I'd see if any of that appealled and put an order in anyway.
My order arrive, with some substitutions which I was happy with, though still a small refund.I like the look of the choc puddings- but no liquorice.. left it too long.
So following my own advice I put an order in last night. I am intrigued to see the ' Full of Beans' snack. Though I've done some googling I can't find it. Anyone know whjat it is like? I'm thinking it may be like those 'You are what you eat' snack packs.

he does suggest on the site to wait til next week cos of the backlog so just be aware of that!
Some ppl knowing what they know will still complain of course;)
Problem is, I've been waiting for a couple of weeks now because of the notice but the time delay keeps getting longer. I'm dying to put in another order but am worried what I want will be out of stock. Oh well, suppose I'll bite the bullet sooner rather than later.

When i ring them they say its been collected/ not collected , but could take up to another 5-7 days before delivery. They want to make there mines up , last time they said up to 28 days.

I once went to a training seminar on retail and the one thing I took away from it was "The only people who complain are those who hate the company and those who love the company so much they want to provide improvements."

The vast majority in this thread agree with you (and me!) and to highlight problem areas is the kind of thing companies pay thousands of pounds to know about!

So everyone here, please don't be offended by the criticisms, it's just highlighting areas of improvement.

    Thank you

I have noticed quite a few items at the same price as main supermarkets. For example Tesco currently have 10 pack KP Skips Prawn Cocktail for a pound without the worry of best before dates and expense of delivery.

Approvedfoods are claiming "A 10 pack Skips is currently £1.84 in Tesco" which is not true, albeit a current offer.

I'll let the existing stock run sell out and then drop these lines. It show how much Tesco makes if they can drop 84p

    Hi all

Just to let you know whats happening at our end...

    The good news
All this publicly has brought suppliers out from everywhere and i'm confident we can take "value for money" to a new level! We've got things like Heinez Soups coming in at £1.50 for a case of 12. I don't want to say much more until its in the warehouse but the deals i've made are exclusive to us and will produce belting lines for you.

    The bad news
We could never afford a national advertising campaign and over the past couple of weeks we've got one. I'm not complaing but its like from going 5 mph to 100mph in a split second! (i've never expreienced this before as i only drive a van ;))
I'm reacting to a change in business as quick as possible and in 1 week leased a new packing warehouse and set on 25 people. We still have a back log of orders but there's is a masterplan in hand to sort that out.

We've got a new number for customers to contact us on 01909 488151 with problems but you can still contact me on 07881621603 if you feel your problems are not been soted.

Were having some problems with training and what comes with moving to a 24 /7 operation but i've got some great people around me who are as passionate about what were doing as much as me.

    Cheers Dan
