well my second order has been dispatched, fingers crossed DHL will manage now they've found my house ;)

good job there are more cakes coming, the children have almost finished the first box, which turned out to include one layer of choclate cakes hidden under the lemon, I wonder if the packer opened it the opposite side to me and assumed they were all chocolate?

Still no bovril (DH is sulking as that's the only thing on this order for him) but now I've calmed down a little, as long as DHL do what they are paid to do this time, I will definately be ordering again :)

I don't think people are having a go - just the opposite in fact - most are pretty thrilled with the products and prices and are just flagging up an area where they are having problems.

That said, my order ended up arriving two days early!!!

I can also vouch for the tuna steaks. I've only eaten half of mine though (because I really have tried too much) and the steak that's left is probably going to end up mixed with some pasta and cream - which is a favourite of mine!

I once went to a training seminar on retail and the one thing I took away from it was "The only people who complain are those who hate the company and those who love the company so much they want to provide improvements."

The vast majority in this thread agree with you (and me!) and to highlight problem areas is the kind of thing companies pay thousands of pounds to know about!

So everyone here, please don't be offended by the criticisms, it's just highlighting areas of improvement.

Opticat cat food is 60p for 4 pouches or £1 for 8. This is the brand sold in Lidl at £2.13 for 12 pouches. My fussy mog will happily eat this as an alternative to Whiskas!
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.
  • ideal - thought they were lidl ones. Look forward to receiving mine.

Would it might be an idea to add 1 or 2 alternatives to the order somehow (maybe a comments box) incase items are out of stock alternatives could be added ?

Dan ha s already stated that he intends to implement this on the site, but i guess he is to busy at the moment trying to cope with all the extra orders and staff he has now got  I should be getting my second order sometime soon ( DHL called today and left me a card!) .
So I guess either I will be singing Dans praises again or lamenting my lack of chocs and cakes:rotfl: :rotfl:
