2nd email received yesterday and my wife's (same email address) today - I was lucky and logged into my account first and processed the 'claim' -tried the wife's account immediately after and no 'initiate' button. Miraculously button appeared today following the 2nd 2nd email!

I won't congratulate the FCSA until the money actually appears in the linked accounts, but so far so good. A really smooth, well-informed and easy process.

Why ING did you have to make such a "pigs-ear" of the Kaupthing transfers?

The only thing I object to about the FSCS process is the term "compensation", but I guess that's what it is, as our money has been "repatriated" to Iceland!

I do hope all those still waiting will get there emails (and cash) soon!

:j :j My Mum just got her 2nd email and has claimed. She was one of the unlucky ones whose first email got stuck in spam, so there's good news for all those thus affected.

I've had a look at todays threads but can see nothing to suggest anyone has received a second email today. I hope this is wrong and that there are some lucky people out there. Perhaps receipt of second email is old news.

I don't want to be critical of FSCS as by and large I think they're doing a good job but cannot understand why its taking so long to process our claims. Cannot understand the need for phasing. When you think of the thousands who must log on to the major banks websites in any given day and their systems don't seem to crash.

Still, no good gnashing my teeth. Must be patient.

Hello, Had my 2nd email last Friday money into bank today Tuesday 18/11 from 2 accounts. What a relief. The Financial services have done a very good job sorting it out. Where do we all put it know with the lower rates now available. Cheers Paul :beer:
