Another 20p on the scratchies today - it seems painfully slow at the moment. I am really hoping for a quidco payment at the end of the month - I didn't get one last month as I was under the limit for withdrawal, but I have £80 tracked for home insurance I took out in September, so its about time it was paid!
The friend that I saw yesterday goes to a dancercise class on Tuesday and asked if I wanted to come along - it sounds like a real laugh and would be an easy way to fit a bit more exercise into my life - I am still running, I'm averaging about 4 miles every other day, but need a bit more variety now.
We are off for another free day out tomorrow - we are going swimming using the 'free family swim pass' from British Gas - The complex where we are going ususally costs £3.60 each so for 5 of us thats quite a good saving!
Car off for its MOT at 10am - crossing my fingers that its not too painful, and DH is back off up the country on Sunday to meet our new tenants, so things are moving along quite nicely at the moment
Have a good day! :hello:Emergency Savings Fund - £11002015 Mortgage overpayments = £0 -
The min withdrawal on Butlins is £10.
Sounds like you have had a good week and a nice weekend planned too!
The dancercise class sounds good too. Did you get in touch with the running clubs? Think I'm going to enquire today - need to get my act together.
Have a good day x0 -
Yes do get your act together Mrs

Well, the car passed its MOT so that was just £40 :j - At least I don't have to think about that for another year!
Thinking about popping down to Mr T's to get something for tea as my sis is coming straight from work. She can drink one of my 7 bottles of wine while I be good
Done loads of productive admin this morning, made loads of phonecalls, made some payments, done about 20 jigsaws with DD!
Feeling really fed up today though - need to turn myself around a bit and get my mojo back I think!Emergency Savings Fund - £11002015 Mortgage overpayments = £0 -
Good news about the MOT :T Sorry you're feeling fed up
Are you just a bit stir crazy do you think? Tonight with your sister will cheer you up and then tomorrow is a news day
EDIT: Ooops, that should have read NEW day - dur!

I was trying to figure out what a 'news day' was, but then I realised you meant a new day!
Went to Asda on the way back from school and caved in a little and ended up spending £40
About two months ago, all 3 kiddies had their school photos done which cost me over £60 and the photos are just in the cupboard, it seems such a waste to pay for the pics and not put them up - aynyway, I saw some lovely dark wood frames in Asda at £9 each or 2 for £15 - I bought 3.
I also bought a lovely little pair of Minnie Mouse converse style boots for little DD - they were just £7.50. The rest was bits and pieces, pasta, biccies etc.
It was very naughty, but I guess the MOT could have been much worse and now at least the money spent on school photos doesn't feel wasted - they are on my lounge wall and look lovely
Anyway, all this will pale into insignificance when I win the £54 million on the Euromillions later :TEmergency Savings Fund - £11002015 Mortgage overpayments = £0 -
Well, I think you can guess I didn't win the euromillions
Yesterday though, we had a letter from a Debt Collection company in relation to a debt we have with Citicard. Its a long story but basically I was making payments but they didn't stop or reduce interest like they promised (I was paying £75 month whilst they were adding on £300 interest - pointless) anyway, I got fed up and CCA'd them, which they have not produced and I have not paid them anything since July. Anyway, with all the interest being added since then, its gone up to £16k and the letter from the DC company said that they would reduce it by 50% and write the rest off if I made an offer of repayment again - this seems like a good result?
Going to list some stuff on ebay today, but need to keep a close eye on DD - she is really poorly, I am just hoping it is not swine flu as she is only 3 but it seems no one will tell you, you have to self diagnose which I'm not sure I have the confidence for
Anyway have a good day if you're reading thisEmergency Savings Fund - £11002015 Mortgage overpayments = £0 -
Well, just pausing for lunch - Have so far listed 16 items on Ebay (yawn!) why is it so boring? - Well at least its free today!:j
Another 30p on scratchies today and 20p yesterday, but still not enough for a payout just yet.
DH has headed up the country to meet the new tenants of our old house - thank goodness it is finally rented out - now we can start to pay the mortgage again and clear the arrears - That is a big weight off my mind.
Also need to do some interview prep for Wednesday!
Have a nice afternoon

Time I earned a coffee I think - just finished listing - managed to get about 30 items listed all together - we had a big box of stuff in the garage intended for a car boot (which I don't think we would even think about doing until the weather warms up a bit) so I went through that and managed to pull out quite a few pieces I think will sell well on ebay (fingers crossed)
DD seems a little better this afternoon, thank goodness
Now the only thing left on my 'to do' list is "Run 5 miles" - Have I got the energy? - more to the point Can I be bothered? - I will let you know later!Emergency Savings Fund - £11002015 Mortgage overpayments = £0
