DD slept through last night, the first time in 6 nights, so we are both feeling a bit better today

Did however check bank account to find we had gone overdrawn  so we will be charged £25 for that and its not even my fault.
dH changed a direct debit which was coming out of an account we didn't use (that was just getting more and more overdrawn) and moved it to our current account. He was told it was too late for this month, but that it would change next month - yes, you guessed, its gone through this month.
Think I will have to send a copy of the letter detailing the charge to O2 who's fault it was and see if they will pay the bank charge. Anyone else had success with this?
Am totally brassic at the moment - so much so that it is a relief that we are visiting my parents tonight, just so they can feed us
I'm putting a brave face on it, but I don't think I've ever felt this skint, another week to go until I get any more money too - goodness knows what we will eat next week?!
Managed to list about 8 things on ebay yesterday and they all said they were free - not sure if the free listing has been extended, but I'm not complaining.
Bids are up to about £65 now, but I'm hoping for a final flurry on Sunday, I'd like to make about £100 if possible.

Well, quite a good day so far - Little DD helped me with my free scratchie and we won £5.00! - so was able to withdraw £11.
About half of my ebay listings have ended and I have made over the £100 I was after so I am very pleased with that - I will work out the exact totals tomorrow after the stuff has been posted.Emergency Savings Fund - £11002015 Mortgage overpayments = £0 -
Brilliant news on the ebay sales, amazing what you can make from stuff in the house. I will join you on being brassic, rubbish isn't it! Focus on the positive though, your win and ebay money

Well, what a stressful few days (or should that be weeks) - after 3 days of being above our overdraft (and incurring nasty charges ) my paypal money has gone in to save the day!
If you have noticed the time of this post, its because I have picked up a nasty cold bug, I've got a really tickly cough and OH clearly wasn't impressed that I've woken him up coughing, so I have had to get up.
Because of the cold, and looking after DD last week, have done zero exercise - so I am feeling really rubbish in general.
Not much else to report, other than won another £5 on Butlins scratchcard yesterday, thats 2 in a week :j
Been invited to a party at a neighbours on Saturday - hope I feel well enough to go (and perky enough to socialise)Emergency Savings Fund - £11002015 Mortgage overpayments = £0 -
Hi MissO, I was wondering where you were.
Sorry you're not feeling great - it's not good being awake at that time of night
Great news on the scratchcards though! I've never won that much on there, so well done!
Hope you're feeling better in time for Saturday, a party sounds just what the Doctor ordered after the last few weeks
When does the new job start?0 -
Hi MacGirl - I can't start my new job until they have all the police checks back - They are taking about 6 weeks at present (5 down one to go!) - just trying to spend these next few weeks getting organised, getting stuff on ebay etc.
Feels like I have spent the past week doing nothing but wrapping up parcels to send - luckily DH has been doing the trips to the post office - thats the bit I hate most!;)
Looking forward to the weekend - If only I could shift this bug Ive picked up - its horrible being really tired, but then spending the night coughing!Emergency Savings Fund - £11002015 Mortgage overpayments = £0 -
Just reading back on your diary Miss O. Noticed you're doing Pheonix. They do good stuff, v good quality. I use some of it via a friend for my team building bits and bobs. My team are called The Shining Stars, and I love the card you do with stars on, they say thank you on them but I just cover that up with my address label, and use them to congratulate team members on their achievements etc. plus the star gift tags are also great. Then your fairy wrapping paper has saved the day for wrapping birhday pressies etc for dd and friends! Good luck with it!
Hope your dd is ok, take care and keep focused on making 2010 your year!My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)
May 2013 £124,080.27= £37,903.50 paid off WOW!!!!! Well done! There is a guardian angel out there! :AI'm visualising success, debt freeness, and happy days!:T0
