    What sort of nouveau arriviste would use anything but the cheapest cuts to make the gravy to dip the stottie in?

    buying pasties and sausage rolls for their breakfasts is unbelievable.
    iwant to stand in the middle of them all and shout "there are pig snouts, testicles, skin, nostils etc in those products"
    How anybody can put these things into their bodies hot or cold beggars belief eeuugh

    Everyone knows pies are made from knobs, noses and eyelids.

    People pretend to themselves that they're lovingly prepared by hand by people who have washed recently.

    Obviously when they find an especially chewy bit of nad, their illusion is shattered.

    There's nothing wrong with offal - the main issue that you should have with pies, pasties, sausages etc is the high salt levels. Quorn on the other hand is bland, flavourless and just wrong.
