So are you saying only hot food has a calorific value and cold food does not have a calorific value? So cold food has no calories.:T
Cracked it then - if I eat cold food I will consume no calories and be stick thin by the end of next week.:rotfl:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

One morning I was stopped at traffic lights outside Greggs and watched as a woman carried an armfull of rolls out to the counter. Carrying too many she dropped them over the floor and managed to kick them around a bit as they went everywhere. Then she just picked them up and put the on the counter. I have never bought anything from a Greggs since.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

iwant to stand in the middle of them all and shout "there are pig snouts, testicles, skin, nostrils etc in those products"
How anybody can put these things into their bodies hot or cold beggars belief eeuugh
Have a mop and bucket ready though:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
ETA someone further down the thread has had what I feel is an unnecessary pop at grammar. So on post 41 I have edited and changed GRAMMAR to GRAMMER...

Ice cream here I come!! :rotfl:If my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!0 -

Those are all fine cuts of meat that should not be sniffed at (pun intended). We should encourage children to have an encompassing diet and not tout veganism to them. Using punctuation and vocabulary correctly is also to be recommended.
I am still upset that they no longer sell their peculiar rolls.0 -
The point there is that people are unaware of what goes into things - I agree that you can eat all of the pig bar the oink (as an example) but people should be able to make an informed choice.
No one, until you posted, mentioned a vegan lifestyle or is promoting it...
It is not necessary to be rude about punctuation and grammer. One of the rules of this forum is that posters do not post offensive comments.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Rubbish! They know. They may prefer to stick their fingers in their ears and make silly noises, but they know.No one, until you posted, mentioned a vegan lifestyle or is promoting it...
If they are not vegan they are hypocritical and wasteful. Squeamish omnivores deserve to be locked in to foie gras pens and force-fed mechanically recovered slurry. It is not necessary to be rude about punctuation and grammer. Where was I rude? Where was I offensive (well, prior to my second paragraph in this post)? I am pretty sure that Ms Hanlon is capable of taking care of herself. After all, I am not the one making comments like "hope you are learning English at school" or "im glad i didnt give birth to you".0
